Joel Grossman: Perfect for travel, as super-easy to use and change for time zones and daylight savings (I hit both beginning of my latest trip). Takes up very little space, so I carry it in coat side pocket where easy to pull out and check, e.g. for shuttle arrivals. Wristwatches and jewelry are not my thing. I hated the more expensive travel clocks with myriad knobs requiring hard to remember protocols and installation of special batteries by watch repair shops. I got a box of these expensive watches gathering dust, and despaired of ever again finding a truly useful pocket clock. Simple, light and easy to use may be a bit retro, but it works for me.

I bought this Casio model mainly for use at a conference with dozens of overlapping 12-15 minute sessions difficult to time. The clock functioned better than my body, which wore down under the grueling stressful pace of 8 AM to 5:30 pm days. A good investment. I keep it nearby, to the side of my computer, where I'll remember to take it with me when I go out shopping. Been a long time since I have bought a Casio. Am ecstatic to find this Casio. Good quality, and worth the slight premium over other brands.

Ssn: Es la marca de despertadores que más me gusta, manejo sencillo y son efectivos. Tal y como aparece en la fotografía. Funciona con dos pilas de botón.
Muy práctico si se necesita transportar, no pesa y se cubren los botones de la parte inferior. Muy sencillo y eficaz, la alarma se oye perfectamente, tiene un volumen adecuado.
Quizá, como único inconveniente, si se tienen las manos grandes, los botones que realmente son como unas palancas que se suben y bajan, se quedan un poco pequeños y podrían resultar incómodos o incluso dañarlos.

S. Calder: Have had this for 4 yrs Amazon tells me, has worked great, batteries just died. It comes with 2 batteries type LR44. Not AA like the description says. Searched everywhere for them and can't find them anywhere, other than a 100 pack on Amazon. After a bit more research, found out that LR44 is equivalent to Energizer 357 which can be found anywhere. Bought a 3 pack for $12. Had originally bought the alarm for $14. So heads up the battery replacement is almost the equivalent of buying a new alarm.

I do find the wording by the buttons on the front of the alarm to be very small. Usually need my glasses to read them.

Super small, light, portable.

Jeffrey Huntington: This is suitably tiny for carrying in a briefcase, and the alarm is audible without being shrill. The controls are few and well-labelled, except that the snooze alarm function is a bit cryptic: If you want to allow for the possibility of a snooze period of 8 minutes, you have to select "snooze" before going to sleep. The on-demand backlight works well. I found that the alarm sometimes went off one minute after the set time, which would generally not make much difference

I hate the competing brands with a multiplicity of multi-function buttons which require you to go through a complex drill when just awakened. Nor can I recommend the "atomic" alarm clocks which reset themselves at 2:30 a.m. when you are probably asleep. If the clock did not hear the radio signal correctly, you can wake up (or not) to discover that the clock has changed time zones or daylight savings without your knowledge or consent.

Mikeyman: I've had this for a few months now and it seems to be a good product. Display easy to read, Light works well. Compact and robust so it travels well. Alarm wakes me up ok. Settings are easy and intuitive to make but the controls are a bit small and fiddly, but that's because the unit itself is very small and easily pocketable. It has been dropped many times but it still works. For travel, the stand folds up and then covers up the controls but the display is still visible and the light button is still accessible

CLO: This is a great alarm clock. Keeps good time, simple to use, and compact. Got tired of using alarm on my smart phone which worked only half the time. The alarm on this clock is loud enough to wake the average sleeper, but if you are a heavy sleeper, you may need to consider something with a bigger speaker. Easy to use, 12 and 24 hour setting is really nice so you are never worried if you got am/pm set right. Really good value for the money!
