Jan Simpson: Love this alarm clock. It's compact has date and day as well as temperature display. It has a light for checking the time in the dark. It's easy to set. It has a decent level of aloudness, enough to wake me up but not disturb the person in the room next to me. It has a snooze function. Awesome product. Great price too.

This is an excellent all around travel clock and camping clock, and just everyday alarm by your bedside. I just bought a replacement, after the one I had since 1998 started letting me down. These 19 years, this clock has kept me on time whether it was in the back country, or in a continental hotel, or on my nightstand as my everyday alarm clock. Day in, day out. A couple of weeks ago the alarm failed to ring, and the snooze has been spotty for a bit longer, so I decided to get a new alarm clock. Checked out the alternatives and decided that if this Casio is still available, I will just buy another one. So I did.
Here’s what I love about this alarm clock:
Silent.
Alarm sounds as beeps which run for about 20 seconds and then speed up and get louder (or it seems to be louder) making it imperative to get up. Just try to ignore it....
Effective 5min snooze setting, which continues at least 7 times (haven’t gone past 7, so it might go longer).
Nice little stand which also doubles as the case bottom for traveling, but is all in one piece.
Good backlight, which is off, until you touch the snooze button, not too bright not too dim.
Big central...

Puneet Girdhar:
I have to admit, I hate this alarm clock. With all of the settings my smartphone has to wake me up, I'd figure out every which way to get a snooze in. This Casio alarm clock however leaves no room for ambiguity or snoozing for that matter. Its my go to alarm clock for a no nonsense alarm with limited snooze. I hate it, but its because its the most effective device to wake me up in the morning.
Change your mind in the morning and decide you aren't going to the gym because you think you need more sleep to be productive? With this ringing with its loud beep, you're going to need to wake up and spend quite a bit of time to adjust the switches to set to a later time.
Its smart, simple, and great quality. Don't expect to fool this one. Casio figured it all out and you will love to hate this.

m: This is a very good alarm that is one of the best travel alarms I have come across. It's very intuitive and has all the functionality I wanted. It's easy to change the timing. I'd give it 4 stars as the light could be brighter and the flip stand a bit weak, but most travel alarms are not as easy to use or loud or robust and this so this gets five stars. It was delivered fine from the seller. I'd be happy to recommend this.

I got this alarm clock to replace an older Casio alarm clock I had (different model) that finally just wore out after more than 10 years. I was looking for something small and basic, and I've been relying on the Casio brand for more than 30 years for value and reliability. This clock did not disappoint.
All I really ask of my alarm clock is that it keep good time, be battery powered, tell the time in 12 hour format, wake me up with its alarm, have a snooze function, have some way for me to check the time in the dark, and travel well. This clock does all that, plus it tells the temperature, a feature I've really enjoyed. It can display the time in 12 or 24 hour format, and the temperature in Fahrenheit or Centigrade.
I travel quite a bit for business, and this clock travels well. The base flips around and becomes a front cover, protecting the buttons and switches on the front from accidental operation. I've experienced no issues related to travel. I'm used to the way these things are set (though I don't really like the one-way scroll-through-the-dial thing to which clock-makers always seem to resort), and am getting even more practice as I frequently...

Drebbles:
The Casio Travel Alarm Clock is small enough to fit in your hand yet large enough to easily read the time. It has a back light that you can press at night to see what time it is. It is battery operated (it takes two AAA batteries which are included). Besides the time, the alarm clock also has a snooze button, calendar, alarm, and temperature reading. It has a stand so you can put it on your night table and the stand easily folds up for packing when traveling.
What I like about the Casio Travel Alarm Clock:
For a relatively inexpensive product, it has a lot of nice features. I like the calendar feature so that with a quick glance I know what day of the week and month it is. I also like the temperature feature which seems to be very accurate. The digital numbers are large and easy to read even for someone like me who is extremely nearsighted - I can see the time without my glasses, a plus in the middle of the night. While I picked a 24 hour format, you also have the choice of a 12 hour format (the same with the thermometer - you have a choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius). The time is accurate and doesn't gain minutes like so many other travel alarm...
