Jaime Johnston: A lot of reviews are from people in high school or college. I use this calculator at work. It’s easy to use for quick calculations. I also highly recommend the Sharp Scientific Calculator EL-W516TBSL. It’s a little more expensive but total worth it. I would have purchased it instead but I could not get it in time for when I need it.

Jeremy Jones: I have bought at least 3 of these. I have passed 1 of them on to my college-aged child and bought another for my high-school child. I just recently bought another one for me. I find that the Casio calculators are just as good (if not better) than the TI calculators and tend to be less expensive. Some of the features that I use most on this calculator are the (obvious) simple math operations (+, -, *, /) and the fractions. The ease of using fractions makes this worth the purchase. Also, your less used exponents and inverse exponent functions are super accessible. And the trigonometric functions are very handy as well.

Emily: I’m telling you guys this is the only calculator you’ll ever need. I’m in gen chem calculating thermodynamics, equilibrium constants, the whole 9 yards. Don’t let anyone dupe you with those fancy graphing calculators, you’ll literally never need it unless you are an engineering girly. BUT FOR MY OTHER GIRLIES JA JA THIS IS THE ONLY CALCULATOR YOULL EVER NEED. It’s affordable, it’s sleek, it’s everything and a bag of chips. It lasts for like forever like I’ve dropped it FLAT down during lecture and ms girl LASTED. The buttons are easy to click on and I got the black one so it’s like the perfect color. It’s modern, fits with everything. And most of all it’s yet to die on me, it’s gonna PERFORM hunny. Anyways ja get it.

Erwin: Its a great casio calculator. Got it for a good price during Prime day.
Do note that it doesn't have an equation solver so you can't calculate the roots of quadratic/cubic equations unlike the Casio FX-97SG. However, it does things that the FX-97SG doesn't like Log with variable base.
