Really, you can't go wrong with this. If you say the liquid detergent is more convenient, you should reconsider your life choices.

Marlette L.: I’ve had problems finding dishwasher detergent in grocery stores because everyone seems to prefer the all in one gel pacs. Since we have softened water the gel pacs deliver too much detergent and unneeded rinse aid. I also don’t think the gel pac itself is good for appliances, drainage systems, septic or treatment plants.
Easy, yes but not easier than putting 1 tsp of powder in the dispenser!
This product arrived in two boxes, each too heavy to lifting very often and also rather large to store under my sink. I transferred about 2 cups to a canister and separately vacuumed packed the remaining box as well as the opened one to avoid moisture getting in them and creating a large brick!

crhodes: I looked on line and discovered the water in my area is likely the hardest in the USA. Have to use extra powder to get dishes clean and even with a rinsing agent, still leaves a film on glasses, etc. Sometimes I can taste it; so I rinse dishes by hand and dry before I use them.
