Marco: I have hopeful because the description stated "They have a fantastic texture" and some of the reviews liked the texture but to me the noodles have the same texture as Konjac noodles which I find rubbery and I was trying to avoid. Still searching for something even remotely close to pasta but low carb.

Gael van Veen: These noodles did not go mushy when I added them to the pot of sauce. There was no smell like other noodles. They stayed alittle crunchier than I had thought, kind of like squash spirals. But I felt like I was eating real pasta and will definitely be buying these again!!

Natasha: Texture is better than similar items. And they pick up the flavour of what ever sauce/herbs/spices you put on them well.

AlbalarkAlbalark: We have tried many different low-carb noodles since my husband was told he is pre-diabetic, and he has pretty high standards, what with being Italian and having a Nona who made her own pasta every day. All are tasteless, except for the homemade ones I make with carbalose flour. But those have their own problems texture-wise. So when we came across these, which advertised themselves as having similar texture as real pasta, we bit.

The package has 2 7 oz bags that they claim are 14 servings. Uh - no. As you can see from the photos, that's a ridiculously tiny portion - a quarter of a cup of noodles. Perhaps that's adequate for a cup of soup, but not for a meal-sized portion of spaghetti. I'd say that one of the inner packets is two servings (half that is what's in the blue and white bowl), making a total of 4, not 14. So you are actually buying 6 servings when you buy a 3 pack, which makes the cost per serving $3.65. Not horrible, but not terribly great, either. Why the company chose such an unrealistic portion size is a mystery, since the nutritional informations states that there are zero net carbs, and zero calories.

As for the texture, it definitely has some...

J.F: I typically read the verified purchases reviews like many of y'all before buying. I've been on the keto diet since January and I've been craving some noodles like something fierce but I had reservations based solely on said reviews.

I decided to give these noodles a go and form my own opinion and I got to tell you. in my humble opinion they are pretty tasty!

1st off. If you go Into this thinking you are going to get a noodle like your standard spaghetti then you will obviously be disappointed in just about every purchase you make regardless of brand or vendor.

That being said. If you understand what it takes to make a true 0 carb noodle and have an open mind to give it a shot I'm sure most low carbers can find a place for these to satisfy your noodle cravings.

Now on to taste, texture and smell.

When you first open the package yes they do have a bit of a funky smell. I'm no chemist but i believe Its from the enzymes from the yams they use plus that brine they pack them in. It is essentially harmless and with a bit of prep work you can make it pretty much disappear

For me I ran these bad boys in some cool filtered water for about 8 minutes...
