Venus: Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 colored pencils have held a special place in my heart for over 15 years. Amongst brands like Faber Castell, Prismacolor, Derwent, Bruynzeel, Holbein, and others, they remain my absolute favorites. These pencils are renowned for their exceptional pigment quality and lightfastness, and they never disappoint.

What truly sets Luminance apart is the incredible quality of their colors. The vibrancy and smoothness of these pencils make them a joy to work with, and they consistently deliver stunning results. They're a top choice for any serious artist or enthusiast.

Now, onto the one aspect that left me slightly disappointed: the packaging used. Instead of the usual protective box I've received when ordering these pencils, they arrived in a simple paper bag. As a result, the box containing the pencils was quite battered upon arrival. I reached out to customer service, mentioning that my previous purchases from a seller in the Netherlands always arrived in excellent condition, thanks to an outer Caran d'Ache box. Amazon informed me that the choice of packaging is primarily determined by the seller, but they assured me they would report this...

Aelaig: Des crayons de couleurs de qualité à la texture idéale pour réaliser des dégradés, un design simple sobre et tellement beau. Et ça sent le vrai bois. Le tout emballé dans une boîte qui protège idéalement chaque crayon. On ne peut que recommander ces luminance. Certes le prix est assez cher mais l investissement vaut le coup.

Cliente AmazonCliente Amazon: Comprei estes lápis porque queria uma qualidade profissional e porque antes tinha já adquiridos alguns em open stock para ter uma experiência de trabalho. São lápis cremosos, muito macios, mas a mina aguenta muito bem às quebras, mesmo estando bem afiadas. Misturam-se entre eles lindamente (blending technique) com uma ótima opacidade e cobertura. São perfeitos em papeis mais escuros ou coloridos. Deixo aqui uma ilustração em papel que fiz mesmo depois da compra. A gama das cores é maravilhosa para quem gosta de sujeitos botânicos e naturais, pois os tons de terra predominam (há várias tonalidades de ocre, siena, castanho, verdes mais acinzentado). Há muitos tons pastel que podem dar aos trabalho uma linguagem muito peculiar. Ainda mais, tendo uma certificação de elevada resistência à luz, podem dar às obras a qualidade certa para serem vendidas.
