It's extremely great buy. We were so tired of ink jet problems and cartridge expense. In last two years, I had replaced ink jet cartridge thrice and that too when I was printing average 20 to 30 pages in a month. This Canon was the very best (price and features including new toner cartridges) in the selection of all Laser multipurpose black and white laser printers we researched. The set up of the printer was quite easy and was done in about 25 minutes, that's un-boxing to running to the first test print. We set it up with Wi-Fi option as no cable was provided. It has a really compact footprint and fit nicely on my office table. I have been printing a few weeks now, no problems, no adjustments or changes were necessary, software out of the box and set up from instructions pretty straight forward. Great Value, especially if you don't need color for everything you print. Scanned our ID and copied certificates perfectly. Super-fast and quiet too!!

Most people no longer have DVD/CD drives so the disk in the box (which would be out of date anyway) is useless. I felt like I was back decades in the access to the real manual and drivers using the info in the box. The real manual and the drivers ae easily accessable at usa.canon.com. The manual is a pdf file with clear and easy to read information. There are three drivers/files, an MF Driver and a MF Scanutility and a Toner Status zip file if you want to remotely check the toner status but you don't need to install it and I didn't. If you don' want Canon looking at what you are doing for 10 years after the installs go to apps and uninstall the Canon Survey program. This is very good printer for a small office or home with multiple PCs. You can use network drop or wireless along with a USB cable at the same time. Once you have the files it takes only a few minutes to install and get things going. Actually, in Windows 11 the Windows drivers were good enough to get printing wireless or USB right away. But do the real install from the start - it's better. Key note - just as the warning sticker states on the printer - DO NOT ATTACH THE USB CABLE untlil the MF...

Printer is solid and having duplex is a very nice feature. I do not need a lot of multi page copying so noyt having that is no problem for me.
The touch screen is OK but not intuitive.I had to review how to get numeric vs alpha entered.

The more I use it, the more I like it. My previous printer was a Brother HL 2300D. I bought a new computer (an Acer 1080. which I'm getting to know as well.) It could not print on my old Brother. My research led to my having to
upgrade to a cloud ready printer. I looked on Amazon and reviewed several candidates and selected Canon Image Class D570. I was way over my head. It does things I never imagined! The Amazon Tech who set it up for me was wonderful and showed me some bells and whistles. I have immersed my in learning both which has gotten easier with practice and recovering from my mistakes. I'm at the point of appreciating what it is and how to interact with it. Increasingly, I believe it was a good choice. For me the learning curve was steep, but it was no fault with the unit that continues to amaze me. I would do it all again. Bravo Canon (and Acer). If I knew what I was doing in the first place, I would have rated ot 5 stars.

I chose this machine because I had a Canon before and I loved it.
I tried the ink, but I hate ink. It's just too expensive and messy. I love the toner.
I still have to figure out how to shut off the 2 sided printing, but I'm loving it.

Frustrated with that, I started searching for a good laser printer/copier/scanner combo for the past few months, but everyone just recommends Brother and their cheapest combo model runs twice the price of this printer and nearly 3x the price of my inkjet. After further research, I found that some people run into an issue with laser printer using a lot of power and potentially setting off the breaker. This unit in comparison appears to run with less power (for a laser printer) and I'm happy to report that I haven't had any issues with it tripping the breaker or any issues with it waking up instantly from sleep mode when I need to print off the network.
