Absolutely DO NOT recommend assembling without a drill 😅 took my hubs and I about two hours, after starting by myself. I am not by any means a builder, so I consider this an intermediate project. Got the full—sturdy enough to support my 4yo and I, with the leg room we needed, without taking up her entire bedroom, or wacking my head on our 8ft ceilings when sitting up in bed. Satisfied and would buy again.

Lisa L.Lisa L.: I put the bed together myself. It took about 2.5 hours. If you have experience assembling furniture it's pretty easy to put together. Seems sturdy, but it is for an 75lb boy. My husband said he won't be climbing up in it.
The height it great! It's not to high and we can still utilize a lot of space under a bed.
We bought this because this kid loves to build fort, everywhere. Now he has a permanent fort and I have my family room back. He also has a small room so we were able to find a used dresser to tuck in on the long side. It creates a wall for his fort and storage for his clothes. Bonus!

Jamie Ortiz: This is just the perfect little loft bed. It's not too tall where child will hit their head on the ceiling, but tall enough that she can have a little chill area underneath. My 8 year old can't stand under it but it's great to just chill. She made a whole comfy area with lights and everything. My husband put it together in about an hour and had very few problems, he is mechanically inclined though, for reference. It probably would've taken me a day, truthfully. It seems sturdy, other than the actual slats for the bed. They were a little bent and are very noisy and sound like they struggle when both of us are on the bed. It does say not to have 2 people on their at a time though. Children definitely should not jump on this bed, I don't feel it's sturdy enough for that, well at least not for an 8 year old. All in all, this is a beautiful bed and for the price it's awesome. It looks like it costs 3x what it actually does.

Patrick Morrison: We got this bed frame for our 7 year old with the intent of keeping it until she is 12-13. First off- it is HEAVY. We recommend a dolly or two people to lift or move it so you don’t damage it or other things in your house trying to move it. If you are completely solo, lay out a rug and drag the rug.

Main concerns people mentioned were that it was hard to assemble and that it wasn’t very sturdy. We disagree with both. For us, it was 1 adult all the way, a second adult helping occasionally and our 7 year old as a side kick to the main adult on the project. Really, a single adult could probably handle it fine aside from moving the box as a whole.

Everything arrived in excellent condition and VERY early (3 days before predicted delivery- a surprise with COVID19 causing delivery disruption).

The half loft space is enough for a few bean bags and a play area for our 7 year old and the 4 year old sibling. It is a cute play space that expands the amount of room given that there is a full sized bed inside the space. It fits a regular full size mattress on top. BecT: The first one arrived and the package was torn up and as we expected a part of the bed frame was split in half. Called amazon and new one sent immediately. Bought this for my ten year old daughter. Yes the wood is cheap, it will dent easily, but the entire bed frame is actually sturdy and looks so cute in her room. She loves the bed and I actually really like it too. Her brother who is 8 now wants one. i would buy this again, well I did buy another for my son. It’s on its way.
Update: We bought another bed like this one. Assembly is fine, definitely need two people at least, to hold things together. Only issue we found was the screws that hold the ladder to the frame were missing, the directions didn't include this step and supply list didn't even have them listed. If this second bed had been our first we would not have realized what is missing, just that something was missing, it was some screws with sleeves. The first bed was also missing some plugs to hide holes in the wood, but that wasn't a big deal, but the screws for the ladder is an issue. Amazon did provide a discount for the item, but it was either replace the entire bed or a discount....
