SarahSarah: Was it perfect...no BUT for the price of this little kit it did an excellent job. As someone who is not artsy or crafty at all it turned out decent. Anyone that has that knack could probably achieve perfection. I would say the hardest part was the color matching and painting. I filled the holes with the putty first and let them fully dry. I scraped over the top and the edges with a razor scraper for it to be flush. After that I mixed paint colors multiple times. I was never able to achieve the "marble" look so I eventually gave up and left it at close enough and sealed it with the lacquer.

A. Med: Loved it and pretty easy. Could get real good at it if multiple times but only one chip. Not sure about longevity or Durability but product works great.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I'm glad I bought this because it looks a lot better than it did. There was a piece of missing linoleum 4 inches by 3 inches with some small damage beside it. I circled the area in the pictures, the first is close up so maybe you can see that the surface isn't smooth like I wanted but not as noticable from standing position in the second picture. I had to buy a second kit because the small tune of putty wasn't enough. I put 3 layers, letting each dry before the next was added. The putty is sticky which I guess it has to be but made it harder to get a smooth surface. I did the best I could, it dried darker than I intend but overall it looks a lot better than it did.

PATRICIA MORRISON: We had a plumber in recently and he had to solder some pipes in our bathroom ....unfortunately he dropped his torch and it burned into our linoleum ...about a 2" scorch mark...my husband thought we may have to replace the bathroom floor but I ordered this product from Amazon.ca and it was so easy to use and matched the colours perfectly...would highly recommend......one very happy customer

CarlosMoreira1993: used this to repair some damage to my wooden floorboards. If it is your first time trying, I would suggest watching a few videos online first to familiarise yourself with the use of this product. It was my first time using it, but after watching some tutorials online & testing out on some wood I had in the shed, the final work came out perfect. You can't even notice where I carried out the repairs.

Mark: Changes colour as it dries so it can be difficult to match the colour. It didn't stick to the floor very well, so I had to redo the repair a few times.

W G Ives: I bought this for furniture repair and it does what is says; I would buy it again. If you're thinking of buying it, here are some things to consider:
It's easy to use, not messy and cleans up easily.
You can make pretty much any colour you want, but you have to learn how to do it by trial and error - the colours on the mixing chart provided often bear little relation to what you actually end up with.
The putty remains flexible and fairly soft when set. This has advantages but I don't think it would hold up well in a place that gets a lot of wear. It also shrinks a bit as it dries and deep holes need to be topped up.
One minor gripe is that whilst the mixing spatula is hard wearing plastic, the mixing board with its calibration lines is only cardboard, and the lines disappear after a few cleans. I suspect that the board itself isn't going to last long, but provided you've remembered the length of a standard squirt of putty from the tube you can mix it on any inert surface.

LA Gray: I’m an artist and found colour matching challenging if you use just the chart. If you use chart for a reference for average amount of drops and which colour drops to use according to colour chart, then alter drops to match your damaged product. if you stick with colour chart you will be disappointed. The finished result was satisfying. I also think it depends on what type of material you’re trying to fix. But I would recommend it.

John Stephen: I've used this twice, to fill and color small nicks in my kitchen vinyl floor. It works really well. The instructions have a color chart that you can hold on your floor to figure out which color best matches your floor. Then the instructions tell you exactly how to mix the different colors to get the color you need, and you mix it up and dab it into the chip. It holds up very well, and once it's in, you can't tell where the patch is because it matches very effectively.
