Will most likely pay for itself by saving you a good bit of high cost ammo shots to get you on the bullseye quickly!!

n71403: What can you say about a bag full of sand ;) It is solid and absolutely keeps your gun pointed where you want it.
Because of it's size not all airguns will fit as to the location of accessories and things like fill ports.
I use it strictly for benchrest and I must say that it is excellent there.

David K: After read about what to fill the tack driver with I bought a 10L, 6Kg bag of Amazon's corn cat litter it filled the tack driver with a little squiggy room, using the whole bag of cat litter. Bargain compared with buying the filled tach driver. Don't get it wet!

Trevor M.: As described. Heavy material. Seems to well constructed.

rmchatham: I really like this bag. Use it for everything from .22s and pellet guns up thru .308. ARs and pistols.as well, with or without a rear bag, depending on circumstances. I originally filled it with sand, but that was very heavy. Solid rest, but a pain to lug around. Switched to walnut shell media. Much lighter (seems by about 2/3). Still very solid but much easier to use. Corn cob would also work, but that is much more absorbent and I'd rather avoid the moisture/mold /rot issues. Plastic pellets should be especially good for that as well as weight reduction, but everything I found was prohibitively expensive. Took about 10 Liters, 2 bags, of walnut media to fill it. Great bag.

Amazon Customer: Was working great. But noticed the stitching is coming out already.

Charles Quane: Easy to transport to bench. Okay to shoot with. Still prefer my adjustable front rest.

Mackenzie: USE PLASTIC PELLETS/BBs FOR FILLER
This is the best rest you could get. It supports and cradles your rifle, and in most cases, you dont need a rear rest. It is top quality.
You will be best served buying the unfilled bag, and using plastic pellets (similar to the kind used for weighted blankets). I ended up needing about 12 lbs worth to fill the bag, but it flows, and sits nicely, and you never have to worry about moisture.

MH.: This is a great value on a great product. I needed something for a house window sill so I could target shoot while working out of the home office. This is long enough to span the ledges and heights of a window and casement and trim.
I also just recently used it to set up a scope on a rifle - leveling in particular. It was long enough and by flaring the bottom wings out it wedged the rifle along enough length to set up the scope without touching or tweaking much.
This will likely end up the primary bag that goes places with my others for friends and special purposes.
I filled mine with crushed walnut hulls from HF (sold as blasting media in large bags cheap). It's really not that difficult. I used a large screw driver handle, twisting, to "open up" the fill holes. And then I used a long tapered oil/transmission fluid funnel. You could make a long one (12-18" the taper helps) from heavy paper or cardboard. Pour half a cup or two in at a time and jiggle. Do that for both sides, shake to settle and check fill; touch up whichever side. To keep it from leaking, take the fill nipple, and fold it under and in, so the velcro strap holds the bent fill nipple in place....

HighPercentile: With (or without) a rear-squeeze bag this helps to form a rock-solid shooting base. It’s heavy and solid with a nice carry handle and really holds rifle barrels snugly within its grippy surface. I’ve used it mostly for precision .22LR and long-range 6.5CM; AR’s as well. My shot groups with this bag were MUCH tighter versus using a Harris bipod from a bench or when shooting prone (very little “barrel jump” relative to a bipod). The only issue (my fault!) was when I used it to help sight in my new Tavor X95 with an 18” barrel. I was concentrating so much on keeping my groups tight and didn’t realize that the barrel had slipped back enough so that the gasses exiting to the right wound up tearing a hole in the material and the filler was spilling out. I patched it with Gorilla Duct Tape and so far it’s held well. So use extra caution around bullpups or SBR’s, but otherwise if you need a rest I think it’s great.
