Tim Gorka: I've been looking for something like this. No acidity and caffeine but something other than tea, which I don't like. It definitely has maybe some hints of tasting like coffee but very different. It definitely has a nutty flavor. I have mine with powdered coffee mate and it tastes really good and has a chocolately or sweetness to it. I actually like it better than coffee because there's no bitterness to it and I don't get a caffeine buzz.

If you're looking for a coffee and tea alternative and just want something hot or cold to drink this is actually a pretty good substitute. I'm drinking a cup as I write this. Would definitely recommend.

MumsieME: I had to give up coffee for the acidity. This makes a decent substitute. It has a better “mouth feel” than herbal teas. I make it the same way I do as coffee, in my percolator or French Press. The Java flavor is most like coffee in my opinion. I have tried Mocha and French Roast as well.

toreador: Not a bad alternative but don't expect to taste anything like coffee because it does not. That would be fine as it has an interesting flavour on its own right however, it is quite expensive though, and in my opinion, there are better much cheaper alternatives out there. Wouldn't buy again.

DZ: It’s a very tasty replacement for coffee. It is a good substitute for coffee drinkers. I was trying to find a replacement for my long lasting habits to improve health when I came across this. However price is a bit of downside. I can see that ingredients are high quality and could reason the price. I’m having it as a treat rather than every morning brew.

A reader: If it wasn’t so sweet it would be nicer. Complex & intense flavours & a bit coffee like. But too sweet for my taste. When I drink coffee I do not add milk or sugar. Shame they couldn’t leave it up to the customer to choose how much sweetness they want - if at all. Overall it seems to be a healthy, caffeine free & pleasant drink. But just not for me.
