Mick: I tried this as a substitute for coffee because I wanted to get away from caffeine and I don’t really like decaf coffee that well. While the taste is pretty close to coffee, I really didn’t care for it all that much. It’s not the manufacturer’s fault that I didn’t like the flavor, so I can’t give less than five stars. The product was well presented and pure in quality but it just isn’t my choice for a morning beverage. I would recommend that you try a small bag or find a friend that is using it and give it a try before buying a large quantity. You may find it satisfies your needs.

KT: I'm interested in finding a coffee substitute for my husband. Not giving up coffee all together; I just add this to our current coffee. He hasn't noticed a difference in taste. I can just a bit because I k own it's there. I enjoy my mushroom coffee and this nee blend as well.

S. Lane: Product came on time in appropriate packaging. A friend of mine served this to me and that’s how I found out about it. Unlike coffee, stronger isn’t necessarily better. A half teaspoon of granules for a small coffee cup, a full teaspoon for a larger coffee cup. I dress mine with real cocoa, a little but a f sugar and creamer and it tastes just like a cafe mocha. I’d also suggest using 6 oz of milk with 6 oz of brewed chicory, with cocoa and MCTs to make your own version of Rebbl’s Maca Mocha - SOOOO GOOD!!!

While searching for a caffeine free alternative, I came across this item. Having noticed the added benefit of fiber, I decided to give it a shot as that the price was comparable to a one pound package of coffee at a local grocery store.
When I opened the package, it had a slightly fruity scent which threw me off a bit. I wasn't sure how it would taste. After putting some in my cup and adding heated water, the scent became almost exactly like any other coffee I was used to.
Here's the thing you need to know before trying this product. It is extremely strong. If you like intensely strong coffee or your coffee black, you might be best to follow the serving recommendations on the package. However, if you are anything like myself, you're probably going to want to decrease that recommendation significantly. I tried it at 1/2 tablespoon instead of 1 tablespoon and it was still very potent even with a Stevia packet and creamer....
