Pamela M Curry: A absolute must read. The characters have become so real and part of MY family. The final book did an exceptional job of pulling all the details together from all 13 books. Justice was served, well almost, and good things happen to the good people you have cheered all along the journey. I will be reading another series soon…my absolute admiration and thanks to the author and to the narrator of the audio books. The voice continuity was staggering, within each audio book and within the entire series. Jump in everyone…if you like mystery/with a bit of romance, you will love this series set in 1899 London. Hop into the conveyance and here we go! READ THEM IN ORDER…I will definitely reread this series, probably more than once, and Im so proud of myself for resisting reading the last chapter of the last book and the epilogue before i finished…onward my friends.

Lois Fisher: The finale to this series was better than expected. Decent mystery. Things tied up in unexpected ways. Like Hope and Lord Coyle's marriage. But won't give any spoilers. The scenes of "dying" were tedious, and ridiculous. Too long and convoluted. Yet, Ms. Archer gave the reader a satisfying conclusion to the Glass and Steele saga. She has a sequel, but it sounds like more of the same just with new characters. If you're a fan of the series, you should read the final book.

Koru: Ich habe die ersten Bücher der Reihe in deutscher Sprache gelesen, den Rest in englischer. Mit gefällt die Idee der magischen Fähigkeiten. Dies in Zusammenhang mit Kriminalfälle zu bringen und daraus eine Reihe zu erstellen ist mal etwas Neues auch wenn die Reihe mit diesem Buch m.E. etwas abrupt beendet wird.

Mit gefielen die Bücher von soll her in englischer Sprache besser, als die in deutscher Sprache. Auf in Englisch sind sie einfach genug geschrieben.

M. Fritz: Do not finish this while laying in bed. I've throughly soaked my pillow. This was a bittersweet series conclusion that hit me in all of the feels. This will take you on an emotional roller-coaster and at the end, you'll want to go back to the beginning to book one and experience this all over again. While my heart is filled with joy, there's a lot of sorrow as well that this phase had concluded. I'm very excited to begin the spinoff series!!

These characters quickly became family to me. Each one was unique and brilliantly fleshed out. They remained true to their inner core and witnessing the lives they forged was spectacular.

C.J. Archer writes with breathtaking insight and beautifully layered plotting. Her scenes are seamless as are her witty dialogues. There is no other author that can write quite like she can. With phenomenal world building and endearing romance, you'll want to lose hours away into any book she's written.

Kindle Customer: This is a fitting end to what has been an enjoyable read. From start to finish the development and interaction of the characters has been worth the time. The series make one wonder "What if?"
