don: The coffee machine is loud when heating up the water, if it is located in a smaller room you will need to leave to have a conversation while it is heating up the water.

Vivo en la Ciudad de México 🇲🇽, compré la cafetera el martes pese a los malos comentarios y calificaciones. La cafetera llegó el sábado en perfecto estado.
Los comentarios malos que leí hablan sobre que derrama agua (no venir sellada) y mal funcionamiento.
En mi caso cuando hice la primer carga de café el agua del tanque empezó a hervir muy fuerte y a derramarse por la parte superior. Después de esto recordé que en el manual hay una leyenda sobre la altitud de las ciudades y que revisen el manual de servicio (no incluido, hay que googlearlo), en donde te dicen que al remover la tapa superior hay un termostato que se necesita regular hacia abajo. Y ho solución.
En conclusión, gran producto pero falta de información. Saludos.

Amy mannoja: Ok so I dislike when people give a product less than 5 stars and in their review, they tell you the item is perfect BUT they give some crazy reason for giving it less than 5 stars that has nothing to do with what they received. Like "it's perfect but it came a day later than they said it would so 3 stars". Or, "the item is exactly as stated but it's too shiny...2 stars", or "there's nothing wrong with the product but my friend told me she saw one for 5 cents cheaper somewhere else so I'm deducting a star". What?! Anyway, sorry for making you read that just to tell you the Bunn coffee maker works perfectly and brews tasty coffee...it's just REALLY loud. Crazy loud. If we're watching TV and it runs its heating cycle, we can no longer hear what's on TV. So 5 stars for it being exactly what it should be but we're probably going to replace it with something quieter and donate it to someone or some restaurant.

S.NordbergS.Nordberg: **Update** I reached out to Katom after placing this review and speaking with BUNN again and they finally got back to me. Katom said they had not been told about this defective product as BUNN tried to tell me they were but will work with me as soon as they get the refund from BUNN and get me a new one out so I hope that happens. Stay tuned I will let people know.

**Original review** Ordered this BUNN coffee maker back in early May, 2019. It was rec'd just fine and not opened until our family reunion of over 200+ people July 17th, 2019. We set up the coffee maker after unpacking it and proceeded to make a pot of coffee. The water ran straight through the unit onto the floor. There was/is no TANK for the water!! I tried to do a return via Amazon, but since it was past the 30 day window they would not refund. So I contacted BUNN and they sent me tags to return this unit however they are giving the refund to KATOM, so I will be out both the $$ and the UNIT! How the heck is that right? No one from Katom has reached out to me about a refund so I feel like I am getting screwed!

Our Big Active Family: We got this for a small office (20 people) with a caffeine addiction.

This is actually an impressive machine. Ours came slightly damaged in shipping, but nothing a hammer couldn’t straighten back out. The setup is pretty darn simple because there’s not a million pieces and knobs. You fill the tank with another pitcher of water when you want more coffee. For some people in my office – that took a little getting used to as more than one office member has made a HUGE mess pouring water into the tank without having a pitcher in the bottom part.

The operation really couldn’t be more simple though. Turn on the warmers if you want, or don’t, but making a pot of coffee is as easy as putting coffee in the filter, and running a pot of coffee through.

We live in a high-altitude environment, and had to figure out how to adjust the thermostat so that the water gets the right temperature, which was easy except that it would have been very nice to have a little gauge to make sure we got it to the right temperature. We did a lot of trial and error trying to find the right temperature, but once we got there – it was easy.
