MegHostetter: My son loves this! But it had some if the wrong pieces in the box. And the instructions never showed how to create the other 2 options shown on the box. Was kind of disappointed.

Merely A Mom: Perfect gift for any boy or child that loves to build. Very easy to assemble following very simple directions but also leaves an option for open ended play. These are quality pieces that will last a long time if not a lifetime. The fun doesn’t seem to stop playing with kinetics.

I'm sure most of us will remember K'Nex? My grown up son certainly remembers. When he saw that I had received this, he said 'Cor, can I have it'. I know exactly where he was coming from as I too was hankering to build this. There certainly are and have been many various types of build and construct toys, or should I say hobby kits? all were great fun to build. My son had a huge collection of K'Nex when he was young , he spent many long hours building various creations.
This K'Nex kit is the Battle Bow Build and Blast Set. Inside the box are 3 bags full of a huge amount of bits and pieces used to build this bow. Also in the box is the handle for the bow, along with a full colour booklet giving instructions on how to put this together. All of the parts are in various colours, they are made from bendable plastic that is virtually impossible to break. Some parts are a little small and fiddly to fix together, they also could be a risk for a small child.
Like all construction kits, this is great fun to build. In fact the building is more fun than actually playing with the finished bow. Once built you can...
