This Buck Knives 284 Bantam One-Hand Opening Folding Knife is one of the best Folding Hunting Knives available. It is highly giftable, boasting a quality build that ensures overall satisfaction and great value for the money. Its one-hand opening feature adds to its convenience, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a reliable hunting knife. bicklestiny: Very sharp. Light and easy to use. I can flick it open with hand but have to use both hands to get it closed for now. Once it gets worn in I hope to be able to close it with one hand.
I have not seen any floppiness in the blade connections so far. I really like this little knife.

danny jones: Great Knife I'm just used to one a little bigger in my pocket. Great looking knife also.

Barry Hobbs: I misplaced my Case Trapper which left a big hole (figuratively) in my pocket. I try to only buy American made products when I can, so I shopped around for an inexpensive small pocket knife replacement . Now, I have always loved Buck knives, but didn't know they made these little guys. Well, it's not pretty like my Case, but I like the 420HC steel blade and how I don't even know it's in my pocket! However, it does the job I bought it for. I use it for general purposes around the house. Seems like there is always something to be cut. Buck has a killer heat treat process and that brings a fairly ho-hum steel up to the next level! For an $18 American made knife, I'll take this little guy all day. If you care about utility and quality, plus a lifetime warranty, buy one of these little guys!

RAH: This is a fantastic little knife. It is not too big and not too small for my usage needs. This is most likely the cheapest knife I have seen that offers Buck's fantastic BOS heat treated 420HC steel. It holds an edge very well down to about 34 degrees inclusive but I like to try to keep it at 40 degrees inclusive with a convex edge. I have used this knife for light prying when it is all I had and it handled that task very well.
This knife has some light jimping on the back side of the handles, NOT the blade itself. I wish it had a more pronounced finger choil while having a flipping tab but, that's probably asking too much at this price point.
One thing I truly wish Buck would change/add to this knife is a torque screw for blade adjustment and disassembly for cleaning. One little torque screw would make this knife that much better.
This is like the third time I buy this exact knife because unfortunately I keep losing it from time to time. However, I keep coming back to it because I love the size, blade steel, and price point.

Loque no me gusta:
