Grandest Grand: It's purpose is embroidery, but I'm using it for regular sewing. I'm not sure how it will hold up. It feels somewhat sturdy, but this is a brand that's cheaper than my usual. I will go back to what I know is tried and true but this looks nice for top stiching, I don't think I trust it for real wear and tear. But we shall see.

Taylor Kane: This should NOT be advertised as suitable for sewing machines. Some of the colors break easier than others but so far over 50% of the ones I've used just snap in the sewing machine instantly.

Loralye: I quite like this thread, it has really lovely shine. I use this for machine embroidery designs. I have had no issues with it. I have recommended it to many people. This pack has a variety of shades from light to dark including greys. I think this is a real plus when choosing just the right colours. I appreciate the gifts that came with my package. You can never have enough bobbins & sleeves & stabilizer. It also came very quickly which is always a plus.Having a thread chart with true colours is a bonus. The only reason for the 4 is because you need an elastic to wrap it so it won't unravel.

I Am Canadian: Inaccurate product description. These do not fit my Singer MX60 as the bottom of the spindle holes are 4-5 the size and don't properly sit on the spindle holder. The colours are not but also had to go to a local craft store to get the colour I needed for one project. Nice for beginners and for the large spool holder sewing machines only.
