C. Hansen: I have only made two of these recipes- Cauldron Cakes and the "butter beer." Cauldron Cakes are okay but I taste the olive oil (instead of calling for vegetable oil). The butter beer I scrapped completely . . . Who heats buttermilk on the stove? Instead I made butterscotch sauce and blended it with regular milk and cream. Tasted just fine. I'm quite wary about trying anything else.

Call this a cook book? To start with I was plain underwhelmed at the recipes. They are really ordinary and then seeing recipes like ‘Eggs and Bacon’ and ‘Porridge’ I started to feel irritation at this purchase.

Lisa Kohut: There are two things wrong with this item. First, the pictures are black and white which does not make them very appealing. Second there are typos in the book which means it was not professionally edited.

There are so many other Harry Potter inspired cookbooks out there, save your money and do your research before buying.

Alibaba: Bought as a birthday gift for a food and cooking enthusiast who is also a HP fan. Good quality cover and pages. Glossy finish. Bright, clear, large pictures. Great choice of font. Not going o try any of the recipes so I cannot account for that. The title does say 'Unofficial' so don't expect names akin to the series.

No problems with packaging. Arrived undamaged.

Jackie: Our grandson and his family are huge HP fans & collect all sort of things. Our Granddaughter in law is always cooking & baking. It's her get relaxed go to. She absolutely flipped over these cookbooks for Christmas. They're really a good size and actually lovely! Even if you don't collect HP stuff these cook books are super!
