tlynnektlynnek: Very relaxing for my overthinking/anxiety brain. Yes some pages are only meant for colouring but the MAJORITY are just add water. Yes the colours do run if your paint brush is too wet…a damp brush is best. And taking your time is key! If you go over a large area you will get muddy colours if you go line by line and rinse the colour off your brush in between sections you get clearer bolder colours!(which the book explains at the beginning)

Cindy Rella: *Be aware some pages are for colored pencils...they have a key at the front...the raindrop is for watercolor, the pencil stub is for colored pencils or pens. I had a hard time finding said key on the pages...you have to bend the page in the seam & the key is on the bottom left, deep inside the seam!!*
This book is really cute, affirmations too! Great for winding down, when you're listening to music or if you want to spark your creativity. I received it yesterday & painted 1 page. You will need to clean your brush b4 each section, so you won't drag colors to the unpainted area because it will muddy the color. Great during this pandemic!

betulabetula: I was very happy when I saw the book. I was expecting newsprint paper in the book, but the pages were about as thick as construction paper (but less rough). The description didn't mention that a paint brush would be included, but there's one tucked inside so I didn't have scrounge to find one in the house. My child is young and cannot draw along the lines so he just randomly paints on the page and the colors come out. I haven't looked at all the pages, but I believe each one has a saying, and they're all very positive. Kinda cheesy, but in this context I think it's a very nice touch. I will probably buy a few as Christmas presents for my child's friends.
