I was hesitant to spend this much on a coffee brewer, after years of using the typical under $50 box store varieties which always failed at some point. This is a great coffee brewer that is easy to use, it makes your coffee very fast, and the brew definitely taste better than from our old maker. The water is kept in a tank and is hot all the time, so however much you pour in, that amount of hot water is forced out. It can brew 10 cups in about 3 and a half minutes. The coffee carafe is designed nicely also, rarely will you get a spill while pouring. I love the design, simple but a bit of a professional look. The only negative for me is, the hot plate (warmer) is flat not recessed, so the pot can easily slide to one side or the other, but this hasn't been an issue for me. I will say this, if you want a brewer with a timer, french press, grinder etc, this is not it. This is a straight forward brewer that makes great coffee consistently every time. Also it comes with a three year warranty from Bunn. I would definitely buy this again.

Best coffee maker I have ever purchased. I should have bought a Bunn 30 years ago, I bet I would still have it and it would have still been making coffee, unlike all the other brand name coffee machines I've WASTED my money. This machine is on all the time, fill it up, plug in it, leave it plugged in unless you are going on vacation, seriously. My wife puts her tea pot under and makes tea instantly. I have hot water for hot cocoa and it makes the smoothest coffee! Forget Starbucks, hahaha... this machine is faster and better.

I have had numerous BUNN coffeemakers over the years. I used one at our cabin to heat water from doing dishes, to washing hair and taking sponge baths, to making tea and hot cocoa as well as for it's intended purpose of making coffee. Since I've always lived in high altitude, it was a must to use a flow restrictor. In high altitude, a 3-minute brew turns into a 1 1/2 minute brew which results in weaker coffee; and if making a full pot, the restrictor keeps the grounds from overflowing. I use this at home regularly for brewing coffee and iced tea. I can't live without a BUNN--well, I can but...
This is the first of this style that I have tried. This one actually fits under my cabinet where the older style being taller does not. The non-drip carafe is awesome. It looks a little funky due to the plastic lid extension that fits into the spout, but it works perfectly. The reviews that say it smells bad when first plugged in and used are absolutely correct. Odor was very strong the first day--glad it was warm enough outside to open windows. The second day, there was still an occasional hint of odor, but none after that. Even though this model isn't...

Five stars. It makes great coffee. What else do you need it do. I have been "sipping" coffee for about 56 years. My earliest recollection was my Grandmother "saucering" a small amount for me to have at about the age of three or four. I developed an almost immediate attachment to the brew. I started out and remain a purist, never caring for adulterated with cream or substitute, it's "Black", unadulterated. I took to it just as naturally as I took in my first breaths of life outside the womb. That bit of Biography out and done. I am not someone you would call brewing or coffee aficionado. Just use the best water, your favorite ground coffee, and a good brewing device. That is the recipe for good coffee and the only recipe needed by anyone who enjoys the coffee no matter how it is brewed. The roasting process is a key to the flavor and the water is key to the "smoothness" of the brew eventually imparted. Use as pure a water as you can find. Well drawn water is usually superb, but some municipal tap waters rival it, but unless I plan to dig or drill a well, my best option is tap water. I think the hot water storage tanks on Bunn's (at 200 degrees) may actually help...
