Sally LaFave: I like the looks of this coffee pot, it looks nice sitting on my counter. It does a fine job brewing coffee, and keeping it warm. I like that it comes with its own mesh filter! There is just one odd thing that has confused me a little. I fill the water up to the 4 cup mark on the pot, but when I pour it into the coffee maker, it measures over 4-1/2 cups on the side of the coffee maker. So one of the measurements are off.

It works and the coffee tastes great and it's perfect for a single person or just two people but I just noticed the pots lid is crooked. Not sure who let that pass

Carrie E: This little guy is perfect for anyone that wants a little bit of coffee. I am not a huge coffee drinker, but I like to be able to serve coffee to guests. This brews just enough for two people to sit and have a nice chat. I like the small size for apartment living. It is easy to hide in a corner or in a cabinet. The glass is very thin - I am nervous that it will break easily if I were to drop it in the sink or hit it on the counter while cleaning - but so far so good! I’ve had it for over a year now and it’s doing fine. I also like that you don’t need paper filters, the mesh is good enough for me (some fine sediment at the bottom of the pot, but no grounds).

2MuchStuff: Sadly, Hamilton Beach does not have the same business model as the company I grew to trust. I bought this after my over priced Alexa voice unit went bad. Simply plug this into a smart plug and for 25% the price you're back in business.

Gombo: Doesn't get very hot. I still have to put in the microwave for 25 sec. Cant expect much from a $20 machine I guess.

John McAuley: Glad it came with a filter as my reg. In all honesty bought the wrong coffee maker. Should have purchased and normal sized CM. This one is more like a hotel CM, which is too flimsy for every day use. My bad.

oliver: Overall this is a great buy, Cost is on perfect for what you get and the coffee maker comes with a basket for your grounds which is easy to use and wash as well as it does brew fairly quickly.

The downsides of this maker are the cord could be roughly 8 to 10 inches longer and be warned that the coffee maker does NOT automatically cut off at any point. This means that if you forget to cut it off in the morning you will have nice hot burned coffee that evening when you return home. Overall this is a great product for the price I would personally like to see an automatic shut off after let's say an hour or 2 just for safety reasons and a little bit longer of a power cord.
