dogmom4d: The only complaint I have is that the interior roll is too small for my toilet paper holder. I had to push the cardboard roll out to get it on my toilet paper holder.

K: I tried other Bamboo Tissue Brands and out of all them this is the one I landed on. I prefer it because it’s softer than the rest & lasts longer. Ever since I stopped using regular tissue for my lady parts it’s safer & works well esp for women who are sensitive. There isn’t any chemicals, pesticides etc a safer choice for me.

Super strong and soft. Incredibly thick, use way less. Important to note that it is not bleached, why is this so important? Read below
The Toilet Paper Encyclopedia explains,
“Many pulp and paper mills use chlorine-based chemicals to bleach pulp white. These chemicals react with organic molecules in the wood and other fibers to create many toxic byproducts, including dioxin. Chlorinated toilet paper contains the highest amount of furans out of all cosmetic tissues… Dioxin, a bleaching byproduct, is one of the most toxic human-made chemicals. Once released into the environment, it is persistent because natural bacteria cannot effectively break it down. ‘Dioxin’ is often used as a catchall term for three acutely toxic chemical groups: true dioxins, furans and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).”
Besides dioxin, conventionally manufactured toilet papers contain many other dangerous chemicals as well, such as BPA and others

Bridgman: Other reviews of this talk about its roughness but I didn't find it to be at all. Our down-theres vary in sensitivity, I guess. Before I got it I was a little concerned about the one-inch diameter of the core, but that's roomy enough to fit my spindle, which is standard. If only they'd done without a cardboard core! They aren't needed and are a waste of resources.
My biggest problem with the product is that it's from China. I'm no China basher, but much of my impetus for getting it was to be a little gentler on the environment, and having something shipped from China and then driven across the country (I live near Philadelphia) presents a carbon footprint that likely negates any savings you get from using bamboo. Bamboo grows all over the place and is in fact hard to get rid of. I'm surprised no U.S. companies have thought to make this product.

LBella: I was using a different bamboo toilet paper and it was amazing. Unfortunately it is currently unavailable, so I thought I would give this brand a try.... Mistake. It is very rough and hurts. I am not exactly happy, because it isn't cheap! I guess I will continue on my hunt for another good bamboo toilet paper
