Billy Bob: My old timer have a override on off switch. Unless I am missing it, this one does not. If you want the light off while you’re in the room, and the timer is on, you have no choice but to unplug it. Need to remember to plug it back in when no longer in use.

Thomas: These are cheap and they do the job but lift the little time selection tabs with a tool to save your finger nail edges. Some tabs are stuck fast and need to be forced.

Ronald: Get these to automatically turn on lamps or other electrical devices in your home or office. These timers are surprisingly smaller than timers I've used in the past and allow you to still use both outlet receptacles. Come home to a well lit house and can also be a theft deterrent. Criminals don't like well lit homes. We have been using them for several weeks now and they seem to be working just fine. Would buy again.

tj: vacation lighting. various places. still favor the 24 hour clock instead of the "colors". But the thing seems to work fine.

Danel: Not the most accurate timer and will lose about an hour a month over steady use. Otherwise it does the job.

Zuk..: Great product, works quite nicely. Time accuracy is plus-minus 30 minutes, and I am okay with it. I gave four star because the timing switches are very flimsy. I do not expect really good quality for that price but then the CA$10 electric switches are pretty good quality compared to this stuff which feels cheap in hand; could have been made better in terms of quality.
