Kathryn Fox: My husband doesn't like the idea of "putting your child on a leash" but I am not going to be the sorry parent that wishes they could have prevented their child being snatched or having a kid BOLT when you look down or blink. I went flying to the Orlando airport to NY, up and down the east coast by myself and my 7 year old. I cannot imagine what would have happened without it. Especially in the airports. Sue: Loving this so far. It's long enough to allow for some roaming, but easy to keep them close to you. Comfy. Easy to put on and take off. I bought it for walking my almost 2 year old who is a flight risk at his age, not for anti-kidnapping, so I can only vouch for using it to walk my kiddo and not as a security device.

These are a really good alternative to standard reins and backpack reins. I've been using these for a year with my 2 year old now.
Just strap the big wristband around the adult and the small wristband around the child and that's it!
It puts my mind at ease knowing he can't run off into the road when walking but the lead is still a good length that he has his own space when walking. And also knowing he can't run off out of sight or for anyone else to grab him as he is attached to me via the lead.
He's never fussed about wearing them but if your child does fuss, you can easily tuck the wristband under their jacket/coat/long sleeve top and they will quite quickly forget that they are wearing it!

4a_wonderful_world4a_wonderful_world: Great product! Cuffs have two layers of Velcro for extra security. Coloured fabric is very soft, padded and comfortable. Cable in between has metal core so can't be cut easily and rotates so not to get tangled. Cable has good stretch and retracting feature without pulling child over or giving too much length. Light weight. I'm very impressed and am going to try adding it to his backpack or harness instead of his wrist so he can be hands free.
