Scott: I don't leave reviews often because tired of hearing the sellers cry. I have had several mill and brew coffee makers of the last 20 years and this is the best one yet. Easy to clean with large coffee bean capacity. The strong flavor features works great. Wish I had found it sooner.

A Customer in Calgary: Thumb up for parts being able to be taken off for wash. Slight troublesome to clean up the permanent filter, but it's ok. Use it daily for more than a month now, so far so good.

Es muy cómodo poder poner el café y que esté hecho a la hora que es programada, tiene molino y puedes poner tus granos de café frescos, la capacidad es buena y los materiales se sienten muy duraderos. Creo que es una de las mejores opciones para cafetera en un hogar u oficina, muy recomendada

AnAmazon Customer: We have owned two of these and have enjoyed having delicious coffee from freshly-ground, excellent beans (Lavazza Top Choice, sometimes espresso version but usually filtro), programmed the night before. Heavenly coffee to wake up to. Both of our Black & Decker Mill & Brew coffee makers have performed flawlessly. To the reviewer who can't get her filter out: use the swing-up handle on it, and it comes right out. We had the 1st over six years, and I bought a second simply bc I didn't know how to properly clean the fine-meshed filter and it accumulated some hard debris. I scraped it out with a sharp knife! The new one, which I've easily kept clean for almost 3 years now, I just spray out with the kitchen spray hose, first inside, then from the outside along each section (sides and bottom). Takes only a minute. I also run it through the dishwasher every month or two and that's all it takes. I also give a quick rinse to the funnel that holds the filter. Easy to use, SUPERB coffee that stays hot and somehow doesn't get bitter nearly as quickly as with other coffee makers and coffee brands. Great features: select how long to grind, how strong to make, when to start brewing...

Gio M: I am absolutely in love with this coffee pot it is exactly what I wanted, no fuss, automatic coffee pot that grinds and brews at the press of a button or the setting of a clock!

Quiet enough to not wake the entire house (though the amazing smell may) and pretty quick is say about a 10 min brew time.

Easy to use, clean and understand, digital timer so you know exactly how old the coffee on the heater is (though it holds well into the day with heat ups)

Everything about this machine is a win in my book, solid, well built and durable. I didn't even mention that it's lower priced and functions better than a machine would cost you 8x as much!

Id buy it again in a second if needed at this price point+quality I absolutely would and could

June B. W.: Previously, separately ground the coffee beans in a separate grinder. This eliminates the steps and mess involved. All I do is clean out the filter and pot, throw in the grinds and water and freshly ground coffee is ready in minutes.

The only complaint is that I cannot set the warming time longer. It is a hard 2 hours. I do, however, turn off the grinder and restart the process. I hope this doesn't cause issues in the future.

I really like the convenience and the extra counterspace I get from this coffee maker. I highly recommend it.

P.S. I saw reviews where people complain it is hard to clean the filter. I just use a drinking glass brush and it works great.

Nathan: Nice machine. I am on day 2 of use. Grinds and brews well. Two quirks with the one I received anyways.
1. I brew 8 cups, fill water to the 8 cup line on the machine, however it brews about 7.5 cups according to the line on the pot. So I have had to add water as it is completing the brew to get 8 cups. Not sure if the line on the pot is in correct? One of the lines is wrong whether it be the machine or the pot.
2. It keeps making an ANNOYING clicking sound as the pot sits warming for the hour and a half. It makes me crazy :)
Other than that, good machine so far.

FLRHCARRFLRHCARR: The media could not be loaded.  Your coffee house won't miss you, but you may arrive after your first cup when you start using this B&D mill & brew!
I was (kinda) hoping to get that coffee house flavor with this. I figure it's a "regular" drip coffee maker, with a grinder. It pretty much is. No blooming, no rain shower brew head so get the best beans that you can. Because those are what makes the cup. I have been playing around with beans for some time now, since getting this coffee maker & I actually came across the ones which make the brew house coffee that I have been trying to make at home (see review elsewhere here). The pot helps, but it's the beans!

"I don't want a decent cup of coffee. I want a great cup of coffee". Before finding the right coffee (I'm not done by any means). The bottom line is that it's about the beans, & so few miss the mark.

I was only rating this machine at about a 3.5. It behaves very well, & the nearly direct brew is good. My 12 dollar drip does that. I really like the flavor that comes from the brews on this B&D. I don't like that you can't add a paper filter, as I "found" it helps with reducing...
