Julie: My cockapoo has long hair and is very curly, this is the only brush that doesn’t hurt him and he doesn’t mind at all. Gets the job done and is still gentle enough on his fur. White tooth brush so great for curly haired dogs! Great value as well.

My extremely sensitive dog that I rescued loves baths and showers, NOT the comb or brushouts.
I shampoo her with an organic shampoo bar with a bit of original Blue Dawn mixed in which enables the faster removal of dead coat hairs.
For a long-haired dog, I would not consider this to be a deep hair removal tool, for those purposes, I would find a coated comb The brand Wet-Brush and Wet-Comb are my best tools for those uses. ( I am always looking for less stressful and/or painful tools for grooming solutions.)
The Boar Hair bristles are a BIG PLUS for bringing the natural oils out onto the coat to increase the sheen while decreasing the frizz factor.
I actually bought TWO of these brushes, one for my dog and one for MYSELF!
This brush works well in smoothing and bringing out the natural oils for my silky baby-soft human hair as well.
One of my neighbors actually wants to buy one for herself because she noticed my hair, hers having become very dried out and frizzy after being sick...

Customer: She's a small, short-coated dog and most brushes go right thru her fur and scratch her skin. This brush is much gentler and manages to pull out that loose, short fur when she's shedding, saving a lot of vacuuming. She still hates being brushed (she also hates baths and nail clips, something from her previous owner I think) but at least she tolerates this better than anything else I tried, and long enough to get brushed.

W. Drake Dorosh: "Biosilk" as a name doesn't convey the remarkable properties of this brush. The design gimmick is that the whole brush is a spiraled up single line of bristles. My tangled hairy mutt is usually quick to temper when his tangles are messed with but like the other dog owners I'm pretty sure this brush is different.
I guess it is the springiness of the spiral that has flex and won't yank too hard. I like to push it in deep and pull it almost straight out to make a pocket that I can widen into longer strokes. My Shaggy dog stays patiently for as long as I can bend to brush him.
This brush is very different. The spiral must have been a gimmick but it really works. My design suggestion is to put this brush on a pole so I don't have to bend over and can use two hands. I'm going to buy another one.
