Adam Gilson: Stumbled upon this while looking for an alternative for those godawful stinky chemically products that usually just cover up the smell but doesn't get rid of the stain.
This stuff works like magic, smells fresh but not overpowering, has removed every stain I (well, my cats and son) have thrown at it, and doesn't feel like it's scrambling my DNA.

Amazon Customer: I use it sometimes as a “softener” in my laundry to help deodorize clothes that otherwise are stale-smelling. Especially that require cold wash.
It’s awesome to remove vomit smell from fabrics.
It’s also awesome to put in a spray bottle and spray it liberally on the armpit parts of my clothes before throwing in the hamper. Especially for synthetic fabrics that hold odour more.

Karyn: I used to have cats, now I have a dog and 2 parrots. Although I cover the sofa (beige suede) with a throw, it has seen better days. I sprayed this product on the sofa and it completely removed the darker spots (body oils accumulated throughout the years most noticeable on the head cushions, water stains, other stains etc). It's doing a really good job with making the sofa smell fresh too.
I tried to product to wash the floors but it left a film so I wouldn't recommend it. I might have used too much product and not dilute it enough.
Overall I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it. I love that it's natural and it doesn't contain any harmful scents (especially since I have parrots). It smells like lime but it's really not overpowering.

Sovia Lena: I haven't found a mess this product can't clean. Get all sorts of stains out of laundry, blood, blueberries, etc. Also is amazing at cleaning up pet messes and makes cleaning surfaces a breeze. Toss some in your mop bucket and you'll never have to scrub your floors again, the mess just wipes off.

altbike: I used to use Nature's Miracle. However, that product changed dramatically about 12 years ago and does not do the job anywhere close to what it used to (change in formula and company).
I started using Biokleen about 5 years ago and it is great with dog urine odor elimination and stains. Not so much for diarrhea. (nothing works for that anymore).
I also use it for stain removal on tough stains (I sound like a commercial!) on my laundry. Also great for spot cleaning tough stains on carpet. All in all, it's the best thing out there anymore.
No overwhelming smell/scent.
ADVICE: Make sure you rinse well. Only thing with using it on carpet stains is that it DOES change the color of the carpet (lighter) so it becomes obvious where you had a stain and applied it. Stain gone, lighter spot (this happens on 4 different carpet colors and two different carpet materials) remains. Darn!

A. BohnA. Bohn: Good for clearing cat urine stench. Also good for infrequent cleaning of my stinky, sweaty yoga shred mat in summer. I usually use a gentle lavender cleaner made for yoga mats, but a good dose of this got it pristine smelling. I'm willing to chance infrequent mat cleanings with this as needed in future (wipe the yoga mat thoroughly with water afterwards. I'm not sure this stuff is meant for your skin. I had no reaction and my skin is somewhat sensitive, just be safe)
I'm extremely sensitive to smells, though I enjoy good smells, high quality perfumes, etc. I detest chemical air fresheners, most scented candles, glade plug-ins, etc. Febreeze is just foul and they all give me toxic allergic reactions.
My 20 year old, arthritic kitty could no longer get into her special enclosed litter box that I set up for her in my upstairs bedroom suite where she mostly stayed. She ended up using puppy pads outside the box for the most part.
1.5 years of ammonia stink, leaks onto my 112 year old fir wood floor, and puppy pads, bless her. She did her best, my little angel. She passed two weeks ago (and my other kitty manages to use the litter boxes in the basement). So with...

Janine Lewis: I've used Bac-Out for years, and it's the BEST - as long as you know how to use it. First of all, it only works on ORGANIC messes. It won't work on petroleum or chemical based messes. It works great on all the gross bodily fluids (human or animal) like poop, pee, puke, and even "death juice". Ugh! Second - the reason it works is because of micro-organisms that completely DIGEST the mess -- not just cover it up with scent. The micro-organisms in Bac-Out need to be kept alive!! So, make sure you store it properly so the good little buggers don't freeze or bake. Don't treat the mess with chemicals (like bleach) before or while using Bac-Out because chemicals could kill the good micro-organisms. Third - it takes a while for the good little buggers to digest all that stuff. So you have to let them stay alive long enough to completely digest the yucky stuff. You should keep spraying it on the area so that it remains wet at all times for AT LEAST 24 hours - longer for grosser messes. If they dry out, the good little buggers will die!
I have used this with great success on mold, mildew, baby diapers, pet messes and many other things. But the thing that PROVED to me that Bac-Out is the...

Angie: This barely has a scent. When I used it in the wash to clean the pee pad, it came out smelling like nothing, which is great. I used it to spray the carpet and let it soak for an hour before I went in with the carpet cleaner and that seemed to work great. And I also use it in a spray bottle whenever the dog or cat vomit. I also plan to use this spray bottle on my kids mattresses next time I wash their linens to get rid of natural kid funk.
