Summers Girl: This is part of my french manicure "do it yourself COVID" nail routine... I use these little babies to cut the white tips after I glue them on.
As I'm sure many people did... I found myself needing to do my own nails when COVID hit. So I tried quite a few options (acrylic, gel, dip, etc.), I typically will go with a french manicure with pink and white powder in the salon. Of course that was harder than building a rocket at home... so I came up with this.
I use these tips (white tips) (just standard nail glue), clip them with curved nail clippers, file and shape them in a short square shape and use the clear nail "dip" that requires no LED or UV lamp to cure. It's basically just the base coat, dip, base coat, dip and activator coat... then repeat if you want them thicker.
This works great, I just use a buffer to smooth them out and they look pretty good. They usually last about a week and a half and you can easily do a repair if needed. These have been a life saver.
