BEBAT NiMH Rechargeable AA and AAA Battery Combo Pack - 9 Cells

RedXepher82: One thing I will say it is a bit of an odd number to have five AA batteries as most devices take two batteries so just a bit odd. Other than that , these rechargeable batteries works pretty well right out of the box. I did not need to charge them or anything as they were already full according to my battery tester. I have been trying to replace most of my batteries with rechargeable and this works pretty well. With these batteries they work great on my television remotes and some older technology like my game boy color which I go through several batteries pretty quickly since I have been playing a bunch of retro games. It fits perfectly and does not show any signs of leaking from what I can tell. The wrapping around it does not look like it is falling off or anything. I can store them for long term emergency use. I checked it every few weeks and it did not seem to lose any charge from being in storage. Obviously store these in a good temperature environment. I did use these with my game boy advance for about twelve hours (total and estimated) before I needed to recharge the batteries again. It probably could have lasted longer but I am just saying it is average. It seems to work...

Richard C. Drew: These batteries are 1.2 volts - say you have a device that uses 4AA batteries. That would typically be 6 volts. With these it's 4.8 volts. So many devices will give a reading that there's 75% power remaining - or less. Remaining power is usually based on the minimum voltage needed to run the device. It's not going to be noticable in most devices, but will be in most toys with a motor, for example.

But - that's a trade off for having long shelf life. I have at least 100 rechargeable batteries of varying sizes. Half my AA and AAA batteries are Ni-MH, while the rest are Li-Ion. The Li-Ion have higher initial voltage, but will drain just sitting on the shelf. Ni-MH stays charged for up to a couple of years. So if you charge up Ni-MH, they'll have power when you need it for an emergency. For anyone that uses a variety of rechargeable batteries, I always suggest having a mix of Ni-MH and Li-Ion.

No complaints - these work as advertised and have a large capacity. No special charger needed - any modern charger can recharge these.

Since I first ordered the AA+AAA set of batteries, I've also ordered a set of 8 AA batteries from this series of rechargeable Ni-MH batteries from Bebat. The batteries have been holding up well, they are just the same as the batteries in in the AA+AAA set. The storage case also arrived to me undamaged, which I was glad about. So far, these batteries are all performing as I expected, no complaints.

*These batteries from Bebat arrive in simple packaging, just reusable plastic case with plastic shrink-wrap around it. The plastic case is a nice touch, as it gives you a place to store the batteries when not in use. My case arrived damaged and not useable though, I am assuming it was damaged during transit since it was shipped to me in a padded envelope. The batteries are OK, though.

The batteries look fine, plenty of information on the batteries and the package. I’ve placed all of the batteries on a charger and charged them. They charged fine, and they did arrive to me already partially charged. It’d be best if you purchase these batteries to place them on a charger after they arrive, prior to using...

Greystoke: These are not an inexpensive alternative to any of the name brand rechargeable batteries I normally use in my DSLR camera but they do happen to have a higher mAh rating by a skosh. i.e. 2900 versus my regular 2600 mAh batteries.

These did not "trigger" a full charge from my high end DSLR battery charge, not even after five hour of charging. (along with the auto shutdown of the charger)
However, when measured, the voltages did change from values of 1.298-1.312 volts pre-charging to values of 1.3987 - 1.404 volts post-charging for the group of four I charged first.
My 2600 mAh batteries top out at an average of 1.2887 volts max, so I do have high hops for these.
However.. longevity in use is the real test and if these pan out I will be back to quantify how well they hold up.
