GoldilocksGoldilocks: I really wanted the look of leather for stringing some jewelry, but I wasn't sure if this cording would work for my beads as it is 1mm in diameter, the same as the holes in the shells and various sized beads. I decided to take a chance and it paid off! Lovely, pale tan color. The cording is stiff enough that no needle is required to string them! Easy-to-use. Strong, despite its thin diameter and more flexible than wire, firmer than silk thread.

Joseph Ellis: Used this leather cord to make a necklace with sliding knots. It is really easy to work with, smooth and doesn't irritate the skin. However the material is quite weak and easy to break. As long as you are careful with it the cord will hold up.

商品は中国から届きました。それはそれで構わないのですが、商品到着を待っている間に販売業者の評価がすごく低い事にも気づいて、ちょっと心配をしていたところ、商品は配達記録付きでちゃんと届きましたが、パッケージは商品の紹介欄のものとは違いますし、太さは1.5ミリを注文したのに、1.8ミリが届きました。これは誤差範囲ではなく、ひょっとしたら2.0ミリの商品かも知れません。品質はまあ悪くはなさそうです。

Kim: I purchased this is both white and black 1.5mm. The quality is excellent and exceeded my expectations. It is very soft and easy to work with. I use it to make bracelets, so I need to be able to knot and braid it. I have had no trouble with the coat cracking. Also, please keep in mind that the 1.5 diameter is very small so if you pull hard enough, it is going to snap. Normal wear will never pull that hard. I had to really pull hard and even then, it was very difficult to get it to snap. If someone is that hard on their jewelry, they are going to have problems no matter what it is. Also, all of the leather cord I have purchased from this seller has never had anything more than a faint smell of leather, I expect that and even want it. I’m glad I found this and will continue to buy it.

Tip: when tying knots, it’s best to work it instead of pulling it. Pulling it will weaken it and can damage the coating. Hope this helps 😊
