ABC: We had a tri-fold cover on our truck and I hated that thing. It was professionally installed when we bought the truck in 2016 and it has leaked like the proverbial sieve since day one. The installer said that was normal. I guess it is if you don't know how to install weatherstripping. The Revolver only needed weatherstripping on the cab end and it was provided for trucks with and without a bed liner. Ours has the bed liner. The instructions are pretty clear and it was fairly easy to install. I supervised my husband and brother-in-law while they installed it. They had it done in less than an hour. The only negative was one corner end cap fell off due to a broken tab but that was quickly replaced by the seller. We had minimal leakage in that corner of the bed during heavy rains while waiting for me to install the end cap. Will update if we still have any leaks now that the new end cap is installed. The only adjustment we had to make was to get the rails properly spaced at the tailgate because one side of the latch was catching making it difficult to unlatch. Now it's easy to latch and unlatch.

Michael D. Pencke: It is very easy to install. All the components of the cover fit perfectly my 2008 RAM dodge truck. The cover itself is rigid enough to support the truck bed without sagging. The lock mechanism is on the whole length of the cover on both sides. There are no water leaks at all except at the truck gate. This is normal to me. Otherwise opening the truck gate would be difficult because of the need to maintain a tight seal. So don't expect complete waterproofness at the truck gate (the water simply runs down the inside of tailgate and exits the vehicle). Using aerospace 303 spray really helps keep the new shiny look to the cover. Rolling the cover up is without difficulty. And rolling it back down brings the covet back exactly to the latches. This means the cover doesn't move around. Installation requires being on your knees in the truck bed for about 30 minutes. No special tools except a knife and socket set! I am very pleased with this product because it is conscientiously designed to work as advertised. Plus the 90 lb. Box was delivered by Fed Ex with not damage at all.

RA5540308: Very happy with the purchase. Easy to install, looks very durable and adds clean look to the black Ram 1500.
One comment though: the foam seal that comes with the cover is very thin and has poor glue. To achieve better results I recommend buying rubber M-D Building Products seals from Amazon - there is plenty for low price.

Amazon Customer: Nice looking cover and helps with theft prevention. The cover still allows water to enter the bed of the truck. The rubber lip that sits near the tail gate gets stuck on the tail gate in cold weather and does not allow you to open your tail gate. Sometimes it’s hard to find the cord under the cover to open the cover.

Jesslyn Truttman: After looking at various options and brands, I bought the BakFlip MX4 for my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 5'7 bed. After researching and visiting local auto parts retailers, I decided to go with this one based on the looks, reviews and ease of use.

PROS:
Easy Install: easily a one person install with minimal tools required. It comes with paper instructions, but there are multiple videos online that you can watch and follow step by step. I would recommend the videos over the paper, but the paper helps at times too. No need to have a pro do it unless you really don't feel like messing with it and want someone else to blame if it doesn't work properly. It should only take an hour or so at most. Even for the less than handy folks. It is lightweight so it can be installed/removed without needing a second person to help. My previous cover was a 1-piece hard cover and I always had to bug a friend to come help me put it on and take it off.

Price: Local retailers were charging over $1,100 for the product and installation. You can find it all over the internet for a lot cheaper and install yourself to save a few hundred bucks. I went with Amazon because I had points and...
