dukes572: sold me on the cover, looks nice on your truck when its new. However after going through heat above 80 degrees the felt on the inside started falling off, when it cools down you can stick it back up but will not retain it form. then from there it just started showing its ass. When wind hit it, it flapped up in down the skin on top after one year start pealing in the joints my tools wasn't protected. I bought it because of my work and needed to protect my equipment. For 1200.00 it's not worth it. tried calling a year ago they left me on hold and never called me back. But a friend of mine purchased one because I told him it was a good buy and had the same problem. I didn't speak to him for over a year and ran into him at a parts and wow that was a bad moment and decided to give him his money back. this is the only reason for this review I don't want anyone else to lose like I did 06/05/23

Lynda Frakes: I bought one for my 2017 Toyota Tundra years ago and recently traded it for a Ram 2500. This cover is sleek, with such a low profile it is hardly noticable at all. The metal slats that make up the cover are durable and will hold quite a bit of weight, as advertised. The installation was a smooth process, taking a leisurely 45 minutes, from the moment we placed the weather stripping through ratcheting down a few clamps... So simple. I love that this rolls back to provide easy access to the bed, but those aluminum slats do get hot. There is a felt strip to help prevent you from burning your hands, but the glue did not hold well on the Revolver I installed on the Tundra. I'm going this is improved on this model.

Joe B: Arrived early, which is a good thing. Packaging was good, instructions were clear. Took me by myself about an hour and I'm 75 years old. One thing I would suggest is to also watch the great installation video that Bak has.

D. Nasser: Minus - First, they forgot to include all of the hardware. That is, no hardware at all. They did send it right quick however.

Minus - One of the rails had been bent a bit in transit. Fixable, and not serious, but better packing should be used.

Minus - if you have a tail gate protector that fits over the top, the rails may be just maybe 1/16 too long. A few minutes with a decent file can handle it.

Plus - Easy install

Plus - well thought out. You can get at the entire truck bed.

Plus - fits great.

Plus - latches for each section.

Plus - water tight and has drain hoses that empty through bed openings. Mine is a newer Ram, so it may be different for others.

Plus - secure when towing 5th wheel with the cover open.

I'd buy another one.
