WH in KS: Great hiking poles. I like that the height is consistent even after collapsing and reassembling. Special tip: be mindful of the height of poles needed for your frame. The first ones I got were too tall and could not be adjusted low enough for me.

LB: I was suspect to use Trekking poles and honestly felt a little silly on our 2 - 3 mile trails. However, these are awesome. I was easily able to go off trail down to the waterfront as the poles felt like waking on all fours. Will use them on all hikes !

jetravel: Regardless of how they are advertised, please note that these poles have absolutely no shock absorption at all. Adding the provided rubber tips does not absorb shock. Also note, that once assembled, they cannnot be reduced in size, only elongated. As a petite woman, they were just too tall for me. Also, they weigh quite a bit more than my old LL Bean poles, circa 1995! Needless to say these are going back as Not As Advertised.

sjam: Decent poles for the money. Once you figure out how to open it they’re really sturdy. But I didn’t notice that there are two different lengths and the ones I bought won’t adjust down to work for my 5’-3” height.

Phil: I've been using hiking poles for a decade and have liked my titanium ones, although they didn't collapse enough to fit into carryon baggage. I came across these poles when preparing for a trip to Costa Rica. Now that I'm back, and tried them.....its a definite thumbs up! Easily collapsible, light weight, compact, and surprising strength. Doubt that I'd take them to a month-long trek, but they were great for day hikes.

Patricia: Me tardé mucho en aprender a armarlos porque no viene bien explicado y deberían poner un vídeo. Ya los iba a devolver después de 1 hora de intentarlo pero decidí buscar un video en youtube y ya viéndolo lo entendí y los arme. Los materiales no se ven tan finos porque son baratos.
No son japoneses son chinos, gran diferencia. Creo que van a cumplir su función y es bueno que se hacen chiquitos para guardarlos en la maleta o mochila. Para desarmarlos necesitas un objeto metálico como una moneda para sumir el botón y desbloquearlo porque esta durísimo y con el dedo no se puede. Ojalá y duren.

Jeffrey Chard: they arrived really quick.

the walking sticks are light but solid. The expansion locks are firm and secure. I chose carbon Fibre of Aluminium Alloy. I am not solid on my feet (having suffered a stroke several years ago. Balance (or more particularly, the lack of balance) is still an issue for me. The sticks should give me some balance support when needed.

they are not Nordic walking poles. I did not expect them to be. I have not been able to get into sync with the Nordic Walking Rhythm but I expect that more due to my brain
