Smiley: If you want cheap, ok. If you want accurate, buy something else. Out of the box with new alkaline batteries, this product only registered 120 degrees for all surfaces I tried it against. Body temperature was the same. Obviously defective. Additionally, this product does not come with good instructions - so nearly impossible to troubleshoot and clear the log. Sending it back and replacing with a different model.
