Ariel: I use this to make coffee so I use it every morning. I've had it two and a half years and it's still going strong and I think I've only had to change the batteries once in that whole time. The lid makes it great for travel and storage, I can pack it up easily without worrying about crushing the mechanism. It's nice to see that the price hasn't gone up too much since I bought it.

ellie p: I really like this scale. I have bought many different models over the years to manage my daughter's very strict medical diet and I feel like this is the best portable scale I've owned. The case feels quite sturdy and stays in place (on many other scales the lid came off within a few days or weeks of use). Small size but not so much to be impractical. Good readibility

Mada: nice little scale, not perfect but close enough, unless you are looking for exact perfection then this might not be for you, but + or - a few tenths of milligram than this will do just fine. Some people will be picky, but what I use it for it does just fine. sometimes adjust + or - to original weight, but nothing crazy or to far off. Usually dead on to original measurement. may adjust = or - a tenth but usually gets back to original after a few seconds. I use to measure with confidence that it gets me within decent measurements. Like i said if you are trying to get down to tenths or hundreds then maybe another scale may be required, for regular smoke this works just fine. Will adjust properly if you are light or heavy in weight. no complaints, great pocket scale, AAA batteries so easy to replace if needed, needs a weight to be calibrated properly, but works just fine out of box, nickle measurement showed properly on first try and maintains true to original. so no complaints. Zach Crawford: The scale is smaller than a smartphone and seems fairly accurate. It needs a 500g (gram) weight for calibration. Which you should definitely buy. On any (non balance) scale that can weigh 1000g with a 0.1 gram resolution, the scale's readout will be affected by changes in the earth's gravitational field,which can vary by as much as 0.5% from location to location. It can also be slightly affected by ambient temperature and pressure. Calibration is very easy and only take a few seconds.

Kelly Gregersen: Product well build and sturdy, packaged well. Overall design very rugged. Accuracy is close enough. If you want more accuracy use the SM-501. Checked against several NVLAP Class 1 weights at 500g and 100G; unit was spot on and then I calibrated the unit anyways. Still spot on.

I then used mixed Class II and III weights, plus several at Class M2. 0.2g (200mg), .5g (500mg), 1g, 2g, 5g, 10g . 50g, 100g, 200g and 500g. All spot on, 0.1g (100mg) would not register. These class weights were verified on my A&D FX-300iN $800 NTEP scale after warming up and re-calibrating with a Class 1 NVLAP weight with the accuracy of 0.0001g to 0.00001g. Accuracy was decent enough for its low resolution of 0.1g w/+-0.1g for this portable $10 scale; you couldn't expect anything this good for $10 bucks anywhere..

However, ( I bought 2 of them at the same time) the scales will not read anything bellow 200mg (.2g). It will after I put a 5g weight on the unit then remove the 5g weight and then place less than 200mg on the scale. It should read either .2g or .1g, but instead reads 0.0g. Yuji Heid: Packaging: Comes in a nicely packaged box large enough to fit the product protected by bubble wrap and a manual. The product though, is shipped in a bubble wrap mailer. Arrived perfectly.

I use the gram scale to weigh postage, and I must say that it does the job very easily. The readout is clear and very responsive. There is little to no lag in the response time on the readout making for fast and easy process if you are looking to do multiple measures in a short amount of time. This scale comes with very easy instructions and even easier to actually use. You won't be finding yourself wondering how this gram scale works. It is quite intuitive! The labeling on the gram scale is clear, with good English, none of that garbled Chinese/English mixed instructions. If you are weighing postage, the only thing I would warn you about is that you are going to have to turn the letter askew in order to see the blue readout nicely. But for smaller items this gram scale is perfect in its compactness and ease of use. I really don't know what else to say other than if you need an affordable and compact measuring device, get this one. This one is easy to read and store wherever you need it....

Chris: A good product supplied by a reliable vendor.

This is a very conveniently sized set of scales, they are now highly accurate and very efficient. The screen is clear and the abiility to weigh net or tare is very useful.

My only slight issue was that the calibration was off (through transit) when it arrived. This is clearly addressed in the manual and only needs recalibrating which is very easy. However, I don't possess an accurate 500g weight which was needed to recalibrate it. So, I trotted off to my local Tesco store (Newmarket) where they allowed me to use their calibration weight - thank you Tesco!
