S.W.: I was looking for a high top shoe similar to the Bike and LA Gear brands my mom bought for me for ankle support in the 90's. I'm typically a 9 in most brands in casual/athletic shoes, and my feet are not wide but I don't have to get narrow shoes. I LOVE this shoe. Upon arrival, it was so snug and I immediately thought I should try to exchange for a 9.5. But that size was not available. So I decided to "try them on again." I decided I might try to work some foot magic and switch out to thinner insoles and/or try to stretch them with a shoe stretcher. Without the insoles inside, they fit perfectly. I ended up stuffing an oval shaped sound machine down into the toe in each shoe and stretching the toe box that way. It worked! They fit great after that. I'm so glad I wasn't able to exchange them because now they fit perfectly. I just ordered another pair in a diff color in the same size. I've had my first pair for about 2 weeks and worn them every day so far.

BatoolK: This is an excellent shoes for walking, running and hiking. It's comfortable and provides good support and shock absorbent. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the shoes thread get loose easily when running for a while. But overall it's a good pair of shoe and the olive-coloured pair looks great.

J. Hunt: I bought these because I have sprained my ankle and also have dealt with plantar fasciitis in the same foot. I needed a pair of exercise shoes that supported both my ankle and were stiff enough to not set off the PF. The fit is a bit snug, I ordered a half size larger based on other reviews and I'm very glad I did. My feet are wide and the half size up does allow for me to put in the orthofeet insoles that I prefer to use. After my first day of wearing them on the treadmill and strength training, I'd say they are a win. I'm ordering more just to replace my sneakers in general. I would use these on a developed trail or a walk, probably not a serious hike requiring any cross-country off trail hiking as well.

Nicole WoodNicole Wood: I hiked for 10 days in Peru with these shoes brand new out of the box and they were awesome. I didn’t even have to break them in, I was so worried because I was going to be doing a ton of walking and hiking. These got soaking wet on the second day and they quick dried over night. I was so impressed with these for the price. I wasn’t expecting this good quality I was just buying something I could travel and hike with. Highly recommend getting these.
