Laura: We needed extra space to travel from WI to PA and this roof rack bag was so easy to use. My Equinox has a sun roof and the nonslip pad kept it from moving at all. It has so much space in it and we fit more up there than we could have imagined. It rained on our way there and nothing got even remotely damp.

Sandra Smith: Don’t let any negative reviews dissuade you. This is a very durable product. Heavy duty material without being weighty. I was skeptical about the Velcro straps but they really held unbelievably well combined with the clips. The clips made it easy to install. Zipper was strong. Went 500 miles at speeds over 70 mph and had no issues what so ever.

There are straps for cross bar car racks!!! You can’t tell that from the pictures or instructions but I was so relieved to find the straps were on all sides of the carrier.

The carrier is also very waterproof. Went through 2 storms. No leakage, in part due to the Velcro flap that covers the zipper.

Very roomy as well. Height is good as is length. I fit 4 folding card table chairs plus a couple of air mattresses, small fan and miscellaneous other items.

I highly recommend this product.

I was moving from Washington state to Texas in March and got this for my little 4 door Nissan Altima. It fit perfectly on the roof and I didn't have any issues securing it or loading my luggage. I drove for five days and through 3 snow storms and some rain. It held up great. Only issue for that trip was that a velcro flap was blown upward in the wind and a little rain got into the pack through the zipper making that small area a little damp. (It was raining pretty heavily).
The second big trip was in early May for 3 days from Wisconsin to Texas, also with a small 4 door car. We didn't have any issues at all.

A: I was hesitant when I purchased this bag, but it ultimately turned out to be amazing. I bought this during a winter cold snap. It travelled over 2400 km in -45°C weather not a single rip or tear. Excellent storage capacity fit a large suitcase, 2 medium size suit cases as well as some blankets. I didnt give it 5 stars because the roof rack straps gave me a hard time... But it could have been the cols weather too.

Christa CChrista C: Went on a 2 week cross-country trip. The rubber pad that goes on the car's roof prior to the carrier really holds the carrier in place. Don't run without it. All the straps are strong and, when using the Velcro fasteners, they don't flap while driving. It holds a lot of items, saving much space inside the vehicle. I would suggest packing pillows and/or blankets around your items. The more full (expanded) the carrier is, the better it will perform aerodynamically. It looks better when it's full as well. Zip one side and strap that side completely, and then do the other side. It is easier that way. The leather is very strong and durable. The way it's constructed, there is no way water will penetrate if you have it closed correctly. The zipper is strong, but it often skipped teeth or got stuck. The zipper could be a little better quality. But all in all, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10.

JB: Produit facile d'installation. Nous l'avons utilisé pour une sortie de camping en famille avec notre Toyota matrix. Nous avons roulé deux heures aller-retour, rien ne s'est détaché tout a bien tenu en place.

Liz: Nice large bag . only problem was the clips to tie in down to the car. The ones for not a roof rack are useless. Also if it is raining hard and you are driving the front of the bags stuff will get wet. Used it on a camping trip. By the ttime i got to campsite 2 hours away from home. All the things infront of bag were wet.
