Joe Winn: This umbrella was purchased for sun, not rain, protection. It does the latter, but, is that really a surprise?
It's a large, yet lightweight, shade creator while at little league sports games. It's easy to carry, especially with the case that has a shoulder strap. It opens and closes simply, with flaps to allow the breeze mostly go through (it will pull away if you get some gusts, but it has never flipped inside-out).
One thing that could be simpler is putting the case/sleeve back on, but it's snug and fitted once on, so, you'd have to trade one for the other.
Bottom line, it's a functional umbrella that's only downside is, like a TV, probably could have gone even larger.
