Pedro: Astrology has always been a weak point for me. I used to think it was too complex, too many factors, and my brain simply didn't follow through. I bought this book recommended by a friend and without having become any sort of astrology mastermind, I can definitely say that I am much further ahead than I was. I love how this book explains concepts in an easy to understand way without watering it down. Very happy with this purchase.

Martha p: I wish I would’ve purchased it sooner. I used to just google all my questions about charts and placements and their influences on us, and all of what I’ve ever read is in this book.. and more. This is the only astrology book my curious self will ever need. Thank you Carole Taylor.

Ohh and it’s very colourful and well illustrated!! That makes it so fun to read :D

Ana 😘✌🏻: Solo le quité una estrella porque el apartado que más me interesaba, que es el de los nodos lunares venía muy reducido. No vienen interpretaciones ni palabras claves que me habría encantado. Aunque creo que entiendo que no venga mucho de eso porque hay otros libros enfocados en el tema y reducirlo a un capítulo no le haría justicia a una posición tan significativa. Mucho tiempo pensé que estaría aniñado por las ilustraciones pero no. ¡Por eso dicen que no juzgues a un libro por su portada! Me gustan mucho los capítulos de cada planeta, viene tanto la interpretación por casa y por signo. Lo compré para complementar el libro de Astrology for Yourself y es un buen compañero. Las ilustraciones me gustaron más de lo que esperaba. Es un deleite hojearlo poquito a poquito y disfrutarlo a sorbitos.
Hay otra versión que la astróloga explicó es para niños porque no incluye los últimos capítulos para buscar repuestas o predecir el futuro usando la astrología. Me habría encantado que este libro hubiera existido cuando era niña. Es muy amigable. Tuve Parkers Astrology de niña y no entendía casi nada jaja

Hektor Villarroel: for beginners and children it could be the best choice to start with. it gives you a general high level introduction/summary on several aspects and use of astrology with colourfull charts and pictures. it has examples where you can see the complexity and beauty of astrology.

Samantha: This book is great if you’re just wanting to start out with astrology. It goes over most of the basics with the signs, houses and planets but it’s pretty informative. You can definitely read this book no matter what level astrologist you are, but I would definitely say this is more a beginner book because doesn’t go to into depth about other important astrology things. The book also is really colorful and fun to read so it’s not like some boring info dump read.

Colin McPhillamyColin McPhillamy: Mostly one reviews a book on astrology in terms of its content and the author’s knowledge and approach to the subject. While all of that is exceptionally well crafted and presented in this volume, the design and the layout also hugely enhances its accessibility.

There is rich material here for the beginning astrologer. If you were a beginner and you worked through the book methodically you would emerge well-versed in the fundamentals of the art. One excellent feature of the book is the flexibility of its interpretations. In various ways the author explains that astrology is a symbolic system and therefore its meanings can work at different levels. The interpretive notes are laid out in such a way to show and encourage flexibility and adaptability.

The book lays out basics about planets, signs and houses, but also touches upon aspects, nodes and transits. It then gives examples of practical applications in different departments of life.

The book is more than an introduction. There is a depth of expertise in the writing, and an impressive concision in the presentation that also make it a useful reference for those with some astrological experience. The book is...
