Arm & Hammer Hardball Lightweight Platinum Multi-Cat Easy Clean-Up Litter

Mika Hobbs: I have tried practically every type of litter on the market & have had to revert back to a clumping clay litter because one or more of my 3 cats refused to use it. I bought this litter & I am amazed at how light, clean smelling & hard it clumps. It also has no dust & there is minimal tracking. All 3 cats accepted it immediately. Will never go back to a scoopable clumping clay litter. Must try!!

Kate H: This is absolutely the BEST cat litter I've ever used. After years of struggling with regular clay litter and clumping cat litter that only half clumps, leaving a sticky mess in the bottom of the litter box, I went on a quest to find something that would be less of a struggle. I found a different Arm & Hammer litter that worked REALLY well but it tracked a lot. I did some research and found the Arm & Hammer Hardball litter which had great reviews, and one strong point was that it was low tracking, so I figured I'd try it. Am I ever glad I did! Like the other Arm & Hammer litter I tried, it forms hard balls which are super easy to scoop out. The texture is very fine, similar to the other one, and it sifts through the litter scoop really well, leaving fresh, clean litter behind, once the clumps and solid waste have been scooped out. After scooping, there are literally, no traces of waste at all. It's like a fresh littler box every time. It is 100% dust free, and lightweight so not only is there less trash to dispose of, but it is lighter too. Tia K.: I don’t usually like Arm & Hammer litter. I have tried a handful this year alone and none of them performed all that well. I was tempted to try this product based on the clumping claims. I had been dealing with a very sticky litter that would leave clumps that would smear and stick to the box and the scoops. The clumps would break apart into tiny little pieces too. I would spend at least an hour doing litter everyday simply because I had to spot clean the smeared clumps in the box and the litter stuck to my scoop. I also had to purchase a second scoop to sift through the small pieces left behind. I began to detest and resent cleaning the litter. It’s never been my favorite chore, but that litter experience made it unbearable.

Once I had the chance to try some new litter, I read lots of reviews for this product and decided to take the plunge. People raved about the clumping and said it had pretty good odor control. And for what it’s worth, this product is excellent at clumping! It cut my litter cleaning time in half because it made nice, hard, solid clumps. This litter coupled with a Litter Lifter made cleaning the box very easy.

Shelulu: I’ve tried every litter, including the infamous crystal one - which I liked at first, until I discovered the urine is hardly absorbed, so instead it puddles beneath the litter and starts to smell horrid. The Dr E litter was good because it clumps better than most, but it’s not lightweight…so I was still searching for perfection. Hardball is as close as it gets. It not only clumps waste, it “freezes” the urine once it hits the litter, and encapsulates it in cool planet-looking masses.🪐 It’s a lightweight litter that keeps the smells at bay. Though it’s more expensive, there’s much less wasted litter during scooping, so it lasts longer. A con is that it’s ultra-fine, and seems to be attracted to static.

Flamingogmom from Arizona: I LOVE a lighter litter that WORKS well! I love the way this clumps and makes the box a lot easier to scoop and no sticking. No dust, but the scent is pretty strong at first-especially with multiple boxes. It does track more but easier to vacuum or sweep. It is a bit pricier than the rest of Arm and Hammer litters and I wish they could offer a scent that doesn't knock you out when you first pour. I think the scent is even a bit much for the kitties.

Lisa Chase - Watercolor & Other Water Media Creative Guide, Teacher, Instructor, or Facilitator: This is the ABSOLUTE BEST litter my multicat (6, spoiled, inside/outside, farm working, country living cats) house has ever had.
PROs:
• excellent, almost instant, clumping action
• clumps congeal into hard & durable lumps that stay together (unless you have a VERY active digger/burier, in which case you end up with more smaller, hard & durable lumps, that while end up as smaller clumps they are also hard and durable)
• dust is practically nonexistent
• the scent, while initially strong, does fade away eventually BUT the odor containment capability does not fade, even if the scent is gone.
• since the clumps of urine stay together (even if you only scoop once a week on occasion!) the full pan of litter rarely needs to be completely emptied and replaced due to a build up of urine smell from the broken clumping action and dried pee smell of clay and other more traditional litter, so there is less waste.
• with less waste, and better efficiency, I go through substantially less litter.
• while this litter, at first look, seems more expensive than other high quality litter, in the long run it is much LESS expensive when its durability,...
