Ariat Women's Terrain Leather Hiking Boots for Outdoor Adventures

Amazon Customer: I have used these boots for riding, hiking, barn chores, and snow for many years. This is my fourth pair. I love the fit. They run a bit wider in the toe box so size down if you have a narrow foot. There is enough room for cushy socks.
I love the interior sole inserts for their support and comfort.. The leather quality is very good and will last with regular cleaning and conditioner. The frequency of such depends on the environment you wear them in. Mine see a great deal and still do well. Highly recommend.

Mkg: Stiff at first, takes some time to break in, but not too long. Size runs a bit big, order 1/2 size smaller.

maudiehorse: This is my 3rd pair and the first pair are just getting broke in. I love these boots! My feet stay dry when I'm shopping around in mud, horse manure and water. Even hosing out buckets my feet stay dry.
I have trouble getting boots that don't start hurting my feet after several hours at the farm with the horses, chickens, turkeys and cats, feeding and mucking out their homes. I wear these boots up to 10 hours a day and my feet don't hurt from walking, standing or in the saddle.
I keep stocking up in case Ariat stops designing them.

Bettina K.: Die gelieferten Stiefeletten waren - wie von Ariat gewohnt - in einer super Qualität. Allerdings wurde nicht die bestellte Größe 39,5 EU = 8,5 US geliefert, sondern 37,5 EU = 7 US. Der Fehler liegt offensichtlich in der hinterlegten Größentabelle beim Angebot, wo man anhand der EU-Größe bestellt. Daher gehen die Schuhe leider zurück.

SueBadu: I'd never heard of this make before but as a keen everyday walker I did a bit of research into what other walkers recommended and this one got some very good feedback. I was concerned about buying online without trying on as I need a lot of support for fallen arches and a dodgy knee. But these are perfect - and as other reviewers say - they were so comfortable from the first time of putting on. They have a kind of spongey inside with no hard edges to rub and cause blistering. I really love them and wear them every single day. I took out the detachable inner sole (which itself contains some arch support) and wear them with my orthotics and they are brilliant for my joints.

I would have definitely given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the laces frayed quite quickly and will need replacing pretty soon. But all in all I definitely recommend and would buy again.

MH: Die Bestellung kam tatsächlich schneller als angekündigt. Die Schuhe sind super bequem. Ich trage sie nahezu täglich mindestens 4 Stunden im Dauereinsatz im Stall. Ab und an wische ich mal drüber und fette sie nach. Noch nie nasse Füße, immer warm. Ich bin super super super zufrieden!

Ceinwen: Auf einer Messe hatte ich bereits einen ARIAT Boot anprobiert und war sehr angetan, sowohl von der Verarbeitung, den Materialien als auch von der Passform/ Bequemlichkeit.
Einige Zeit später hatte ich mich im Netz nach der Firma und ihrer Schuhpallette umgeschaut, weil ich speziell einen schwarzen Schuh haben wollte und wurde mit diesem Modell fündig.

Nach Lieferschwierigkeiten und einiger Verzögerung kam der bestellte Boot also doch bei mir an, und bisher konnte ich ihn etwa drei bis vier Mal (unter Belastung) tragen.
Vom Eindruck scheint er recht gut verarbeitet zu sein - allerdings wirkt er mir doch nicht ganz so hochwertig, wie ich eigentlich für Schuhe dieser Preisklasse erwarten würde und auch wie mir der Boot auf der Messe (Modell "Telluride") aus der Erinnerung vorkam. Immerhin ist das Leder ein recht ordentlich Weiches. Zur Sohle kann ich nichts sagen, bin selbst auf Abriebfestigkeit und Haltbarkeit gespannt.

Vom Komfort und Tragegefühl bin ich momentan noch eher etwas enttäuscht - auch hier kommt mir dieses Modell und die Innensohle/ das Fußbett nicht so bequem vor, wie bei dem Schuh den ich bei dem Verkaufsstand anprobierte (da werde ich wohl...
