DM: Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews, they don’t know what they are talking about. I was a little hesitant to buy it, based on the bad reviews, but the tool is a great deal. Super simple and effective for what’s meant to do. The price is unbelievable.

Edward L. Jenner: I used this for getting preload on pinion bearings (25-30 inlb). Worked fine, seemed consistent enough. Easy enough to read to the accuracy I needed. If you need something super-precision, you should probably get a digital or something quite a bit more expensive, but I think this will work for most applications.

GrahamGraham: Works for what I needed, which was to set and test bearing pre-load. For this task a little beam torque wrench like this is handy. However, finding an inch-pound beam toque wrench is getting harder to do. Quality was good in many aspects and it felt nice to use. My only complaint was it came not properly zeroed out (beam deflected slightly to one side) so you can’t trust low readings. This was priced a little higher than it should have been as a result.

David: As a previous review highlights, when item arrived the pointer didn't align with the zero mark as it should but a bit of tweaking by hand soon had the pointer centred. Did the job but certainly not a precision instrument - you get what you pay for I guess
