elizabethelizabeth: This filter seems to provides good filtration by keeping the water clean and clear so far. It is actually very quiet. It was super easy to put in the tank from opening the box to attaching it to the wall. It seems to be an efficient filter that will help maintain a healthy environment for my frogs. Highly recommended!

Roselene Carmo: It’s easy to put together, very quiet, and easy to clean, the sad part is the fact I didn’t pay attention to the size. I got a small one instead of large. Didn’t do much for my 20 gallons fish tank. I almost killed my baby, so I had to switch back the the older one. Anyways I’m getting the right size to replace the older one, because the older one is very noisy. Same brand, just old. I love their product and I recommend it to anyone who needs them.

Lily: This filter really lasts for a long time. It is still working after 3 years. Easy to clean. It is a little noisy but I am ok with that since it is in my living room.

Cam Shack: After maybe 5 months the suction cups to stick it to the wall have become stiff and fail to stick for long. Not sure how to replace these bad very specifically sized suction cups. The filter itself is alright for a small filter, not very strong but very quiet.

Megan Kalina: Filter is very quiet and works extremely well. It keeps the tank very clean and isn't too expensive, as well as the replaceable filters.
The suction power, however, is a little too strong for my beta he always gets sucked into the current or pushed away from the filtered water flow (unharmed). Over all a great filter though, it certainly does its job.

Toast person: I have this filter for another tank and have had no problems, but this one was SO loud.

I ended up taking it apart and removing one piece that was causing most of the noise. Now it’s alright.

The flow is a little strong at the beginning so for fish like bettas it may not be the best option but I made it work.

Amazon Customer: I own this same model bought a few years ago and worked very well, purchased this one for my second tank and straight out of the box noticed the weight is lighter, the plastic feels cheap (different manufacturer?). It is easy to install and was working fine for 1 hour before it started to hum very loudly. I took it apart to clean it and realize the humming is caused by the small plastic impeller cover. I did not put the cover back on, left it open and put the filter back and the loud humming is gone.

Amazon Customer: I really trust and love Aqueon products so that’s why I bought this (the quietflow 10). Needed a filter for my 6.5 planted nano aquarium and it probably is a little big for it but I don’t actually mind because this filter is very sharp and simple looking so it really doesn’t take away much from the tank aesthetic. I have no doubt that it’s filtering the water really well and doing what it should In that regard but my only concern is that this filters outflow is VERY gentle. Which can be good for a Betta fish or smaller fish that don’t like a lot of current Or a tank without live plants. This isn’t ideal for me because it doesn’t agitate the surface enough to break up the proteins that build up on top of the water so now I have to look in to buying a separate skimmer or some kind of other agitator. I’ve tried moving it higher out of the water but as far up as I can move it it still doesn’t break the water up.
Even in my 6.5 gallon, this isn’t really a strong enough filter. Other than that I love how it looks, it’s quiet, it’s easy to take apart and I like the biological filtration sponge thing that’s included.

kat: It does the job, but it isn’t as silent as the 3 gallon filter, now that one was quiet! The sound it makes is more of a quiet hum, but not the type of “quietflow” I expected it to have. I was about to give it a 3 star because of the sound it makes, but decided on a 4 due to the price point.
