I have the small one with a 10 gallon tetra pump in a 10 gallon tank and it seems to be doing absolutely nothing. I have seen detritus literally drift right onto the sponge and then just drift right off the top. I have also tried a 20 gallon pump to move more air but it made no difference. My suspicion is the 10 gallon tank is too small and the water current overpowers the suction? IN any case, im glad it was cheap and if I upgrade to a 20 long I will use the larger pump and see if this improves performance. So far I have piles of snail dirt behind and under the filter...not IN IT...where it belongs. I wouldn't get the small one again for anything.

GRM Karthikeyan: Product is not worth for Rs. 495 . Only a small size of plastic and sponge.
Value of this product would be hardly Rs.50, but selling for Rs. 495 is cheating.

Lee R: I have two filters and an air pump for my 6.5 gal. tank. Very easy to clean...Not sure how much it actually traps; but functions well as an air pump as well...

Justin M. Small: For the $$, these things are great! I have two of these in my 75g, one on each end. These were added to compliment my sump filtration (800ph return pump with 3.5ft lift). I originally started with one and was impressed enough to add a second. I much prefer these over the single large one, these ones even have smaller bubbles compared to the large ones I've had in the past.
These hug the wall pretty well, they do not look bulky, and the suction power is more than enough. I run a double out air pump on mine, both blow more than enough bubbles. I've never used sponge filters a lone, I have always used them as a complimentary filter, but I can tell that these draw in debris. . Well worth the $$.

Lee Dizon: The media could not be loaded. The sponge filter was a great selection to add in my 3 gallon fish tank , I was having issue with filtration , once I add my sponge inside the tank it made me water no longer cloudy anymore and my babies love it 🥰
