JMDEMT04: I love this little pump. I replaced a pair of 4-port Danner air pumps with this hoping it would be about the same amount of noise. I was absolutely blown away with how quiet this pump is, especially considering the volume of air it puts out. 5 stars!!!

tuck n roll: This is for the AP-60. I can’t speak of the longevity as I’ve only had it 3 days running 24/7, but this is the quietest air pump I’ve ever owned and very cool running too. To me that says it’s built well and should go towards it lasting a decent amount of time. The rebuild kits are inexpensive unlike some other brands out there and rebuilding pumps is part of the deal where you spend extra money so it’s nice they don’t charge 1/3 the cost of the pump.
I have it running with 2 4” and 1 8” air stones in a moving bed filter and it more than meets my needs for that purpose!

Speedy: Replaced an old pump (different brand) with this one. Works fine. Makes bubbles, which in turn, allows the fish to breath. Plenty of power to work 3 stone bubblers and more. It's not real quiet, but by comparison to others we've used, it's quiet enough.
