Josh Henderson: It’s a really good solid mount! However I will say I actually had to do a minor fix; I noticed after a while the mount would always tend to slowly turn to the right….not slide, but turn. I drive a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, so to keep the mount from turning I just went to my local Walmart and bought some adhesive Velcro strips and placed a strip underneath the mount and that did the trick! No more turning!!! It’s a pretty heavy mount already and I like that the rear underside is equipped with a built-in slip resistant pad. So all I had to do was place the Velcro strip on the bottom front and now the mount is centered & secure!

George S.: I got this because I didn't like the suction cup mount that came with my Garmin GPS. This works great! It stays put on the dash and holds my GPS at the perfect angle. I have only used it twice, but I'm glad I bought it.

Cindy: I purchased this for my husband to use in his car for his GPS. It is sturdy and holds the GPS firmly . . two features he was looking for in a dashboard mount. However, he did not secure the mount to his dashboard by peeling off the tape on the bottom of the item. He found that the mount holds the GPS so tightly that, when he wants to pull the GPS down to his level to type in the information, it is easier just to lift the mount with the GPS secured in it down to his level, rather than unclamp (it's so tightly secured, it takes two hands) the GPS from the mount. Perhaps this information will be helpful to know for other prospective buyers. In my husband's case, this slight inconvenience is well worth his desired outcome.

High Plains Drifter: Never liked the idea of messing wth your window glass for electrical devices so had to try it, Design has a critical flaw. After going to the trouble of making a "beanbag" design to avoid the need for sticky glue, they added a sticky glue patch center-bottom, which actually makes the unit slide around! Wha? Still useful even with the flaw, especially if you are OK putting it on the passenger seat. Seems like it was not a major sales success and prices have come dramatically. At current levels, worth it!

Amazon Customer: Very nice gps holder, sits securely on a dashboard. My garmin nuvi 2797 lm is 4"1/2 wide and requires maximum opening. Hopefully it will last.

MR: So far, I am very happy with this product. (I have only had it for about a week, though.) I am using it with a Tom Tom GPS and had difficulty finding a product that was able to hold my unit and that would also remain in place. Suction cup devices that went on the windshield popped off after a time. I also tried a couple that attached to the vent grilles but they could not hold the weight. This seems to be doing the job and does so without blocking any information screens (which on my car, are set in the middle of the dashboard). It took quite a long time to arrive, partly blamed on the Covid-19 pandemic, but seems to be worth the wait. I am glad now that I didn't give up on it.

AngelaK: Have been using this with my Garmin nuvi 250w to hold it on the dashboard of my Ford Escape. The mount works well and does not slide around, just like it says.
