C. KEEFE: First time using this product or for that matter using any conditioner. I have well water, so I dont need to removed the chlorine but use it to remove heavy metals. For years I struggled with my tank and could not figure it out. Plants always died, would never grow. I have had a tank for almost 20 years and the water conditions get worst over time. I just figured out that heavy metals could be the issue, and tried this product. My tank is back to normal with plant growth and no brown or dark algae. The heavy metals caused algae growth. So this works for me!!

Bobby Magic: I used to have high quality well water. Back then, I was an African Cichlid guy. My well water was the closest thing to Lake Malawi or Lake Tanganyika that one could ask for. High pH and SUPER hard! Then my neighborhood voted for "City Water". That was about 10 yrs ago and I got out of the Cichlid hobby at that time. Now I'm getting back in with Aquascaped Nano tanks. My "City Water" is highly Chlorinated. I NEED this product. The API Tap Water Conditioner really does neutralize or dechlorinates the chlorides. Heavy metals too (as advertised) but I cannot really testify to that. But neutralizing Chlorides. It's fantastic. I'm going to buy a gallon jug of this stuff. The little bottle doesn't hack it if you do a lot of water changes or even just cleaning your filters. You can't just use tap water. You'll kill the beneficial bacteria. All tap water must be treated no matter what you are using it for if it's related to your tank or gear...you need API® TAP WATER CONDITONER . You NEED it!
