Andrea AAndrea A: The pictures say it all. A little background. I have a 90 gallon tank with goldfish and bristle nose plecos for cleaning surface algae. My filter is a Fluval FX4 that is rated for a 240 gallon tank. No matter what I did lately, I could NOT get rid of this algae bloom. I was doing small water changes daily, I tried major water changes even. I tried using a phosphorus-removing media in my filter (phosphorus feeds algae). I clean and operate my Oscar tank (150 gallons) the exact same way as my goldfish tank. Neither tank is in direct sunlight. I was at my wit's end with my 90 gallon. I really didn't want to use a product that could potentially hurt my fish or live plants in the tank. When this arrived, I added a dose for a 50 gallon tank instead of 90 gallons just to be safe. I wanted to see how it affected my fauna and flora. I took a quick shower. By the time I got out, I hardly recognized this tank! Within just 15 min, the tank was *almost* crystal clear. Within an hour, it was the cleanest it's ever been. My water parameters have always been great and both tanks are well-cycled. Between this Alage-Fix and my filter, my tanks are clean and beautiful. The white water polishing pad...

Raj: This product really worked for me. I had algae problem since 1 year. How much ever I clean the tank algae was coming back. I used this product only once that too just 1.5ml. My algae problem is solved. I was able to see the results in 1 day. After 3 days the water was completely crystal clear. Im really happy about performance of the product.

Anne: I've kept fish for 9 years now and had a bacteria bloom in my tank....I presumed too much natural light in the room where my tank is kept....however, this is where its always been?? Anyway did all the routine checks, water fine, do weekly water changes as I've always done. I know doing too many water changes can make the problem worse. I was a little sceptical at trying this product especially reading fish have died etc., but on reading up on this product thought I'd give it a go. I have 110 litre tank but just mixed 1.5ml of Algeafix into some tank water so basically 1/2 of recommended dose....OMG by the morning my tank is back to crystal clear again!!! Fish absolutely fine and do not have to repeat process 3days on as directed. It has definately worked for my fish tank but be very careful putting the recommended dose into the tank....start with 1/2 the recommended dose just to see if your fish are okay and maybe repeat the small dose again 3 days later if no better...but it worked miracles for my tank water and fast 👍

Sherry S: Used this product for 3 months and it has greatly reduced my algae problem. I use 3 ml in a 40 gallon aquarium once a week when I do my water change. I mix it with the fresh water I add to dilute its immediate impact on fish. The but is that it killed my Amano shrimp. It hasn't killed any fish or my Nerite snail. If you don't have any aquarium shrimp I think its very safe for fish and snails. Do not overdose, like I said I only use 3ml per 40 gallons of water and it did a good job of getting rid of my algae.

sagar pare: I got this product after long research for my aquarium. I was having a brown algae issue which which spreading fast in my tank. I had removed all the plants & cleaned them with brush. Then I added the said quantity in my aquarium only once & voila the brown algae start reducing. Now only few patches of brown algae are remaining in tank. It did not affect my fish, I have Angels, Cardinal & Rainbow Tetras. Just use the said quantity & keep changing water. I recommend this product one in 10 days.

Lalit Nayak: Use it with caution!! Strictly follow the dosing instructions mentioned on the bottle. If you have shrimp in your tank, then you shouldn't use it; unless you want to sacrifice them for removing algae. Whether it affects the fish and shrimps? The answer is definitely your shrimps will die. Whether all of them will die? The answer is may be some, may be all of them; you never know. In my case with the first dosing half of my shrimps died. But, still half are doing fine. Fishes seem to be doing good though; not much effect on them. Now the big question. Whether algae is removed? Let me tell you no product can remove algae. Even this product only says it can control algae. So, the answer is it can kill or weaken the algae growth. But, if you really want to get rid of algae, then you have find the right balance of light, fertilizer, CO2 and water change cycle for your planted tank. Use this product only if you already have algae growth in your tank for whatever reason. But, the long term solution is to find the right balance.

Stephanie Johnson: I picked this stuff up after going through 3 algae blooms in my 10-gallon tank (including one really bad one, couldn't see two inches past it, and the other two being much more tame).
Now, I've read MANY mixed reviews on this product before making my purchase, and I have one thing to say. This is basically Weed-B-Gone for aquatic environments. It's made to kill algae. It's safe for fish IF USED RESPONSIBLY.
We've treated two tanks with this stuff: a 60 gallon, and 10 gallon. No fish died.
The 60 gallon: heavily infested with algae, specifically the brown hair algae. Applied the recommended dose (1 tsp per 50 gallons, we did a full dose). In the tank live two Convict Ciclids, two loaches, two kissing gourami, one minnow, and one otocinclus catfish. The tank itself is very well established bacteria wise, and has an appropriate canister filter going with four sponges and bacteria media. The lights on it are low-light, with one low-light grower. NONE of the fish were affected in any way shape or form.
The 10 gallon: houses my one Oranda goldfish, along with 7-8 trumpet snails. Previously had ghost shrimp in it, but took them out prior to treatment, then...
