Alexander: Das Produkt fühlt sich aus meiner Sicht wertig an und hat ein gewisses Eigengewicht, was beim Verteilen des Kaffees hilft. In meinem Fall wird "überschüssiges" Kaffeemehl beim Drehen des Verteilers seitlich aus dem Siebträger herausgedrückt. Dadurch wird die gewünschte Tiefe erreicht.
Ich bin zufrieden und würde es wieder kaufen.

David S: When I bought this distributor I thought it would be great since it would not only distribute and flatten the coffee, but also remove excessive coffee from the basket by turning the distributor the other way around. However, that doesn’t really work. When doing that, some excess are being removed but most is just being shoveled around inside the basket, leaving the coffee very uneven, even after turning the distributor the “right” way.
Apart from that, I’m very pleased with this distributor. Sturdy, adjustable and simple to use.

Renae Dawson: Well, it does the job - it levels out the coffee grounds in my portafilter and does a nice job of it. I do however have some minor gripes about the quality of construction; I suppose I only have myself to blame for expecting better from something so inexpensive!
When it arrived, I took the leveller tool apart to give it a good clean before use and when I put it back together I found it just didn't seem to sit as well as it did before. The top half is no longer sitting flush with the sides and seems to be a bit crooked? I've tried adjusting it a few times but it hasn't made a difference. Additionally, the o-ring it came with seems to be far too big - I will likely replace this with a smaller one to see if that helps at all.
I'm not exactly unhappy with this product; as I said, it does the job of levelling my coffee grounds perfectly well. It has been an excellent addition to my beginner's espresso setup so I'm glad I was able to get a leveller for so cheap. I don't see myself keeping it forever though and I will probably upgrade to a more expensive one when the time is right.

Kevin Bastian: Beware negative reviews. The first one listed for me was from early 2019. I'm not disputing the reviewer's experience at all, but what matters is what the product is now, not what it was then. This espresso distributor is PERFECT! We bought a new espresso machine last Christmas and have been steadily upping our game in search of perfection (read consistency). We use a digital scale and measure our espresso load to the tenth of a gram. Our grinder costs more than our espresso machine. I absolutely know we're "perfect" in our grind and the load. The espresso machine does an excellent job. The one variable we were inconsistent with was the tamp. Our machine has a manometer (pressure gauge) and we'd be all over the map from 7 bars to 14 bars. It usually wasn't that bad, but sometimes it was. I want to get 9-10 bars every time, and we just weren't achieving that. In fairness, my wife comes closer than I do, but it varies for her as well. We put a digital bathroom scale on our kitchen counter (its actually cool looking and it stays there!). That helped us with our tamping, and we consistently tamp at 30 pounds.
