C Feller: Very sturdy, has a nice heavy feel. Great price. The flat surface makes pressing down while tamping is easy and comfortable in the palm of the hand. It is made in three pieces so I needed to screw the top and bottom parts tightly onto the center shaft to keep it from loosening. The large end measure 58.2 mm and fits my Rancilio Silvia baskets. There is very little space between the tamper and the basket edge. The small end measure 51.0 mm.

Mysterychix: Best pandemic odd purchase ever! I've come to love cafe con leche as my coffee of choice in the morning, but making the perfect Cuban espresso was hit and miss due to how packed the grounds were in my Moka pot -- but luckily this little guy solved all my problems. Every cup now is a perfect brew! The wider end fits my Moka pot perfectly and the weight of it does a nice compact on the coffee. I'm so glad I found this and made this purchase. May be my ultimate stocking stuffer for others for Christmas!

C. J. Elder: Perfectly machined with no uneven edges, highly polished, the millimeter sizes are clearly engraved, and all for a low price. Contrast this with RSVP Terry's Tamper, which has uneven edges causing the tamper to rock lopsided in the filter and creating gaps, has a rougher pitted finish, and the millimeter sizes are not marked. I would pay twice the price for this X-Chef tamper over Terry's Tamper! But I don't have to because they're both the same price, so definitely go with the X-Chef! Also, I find I like this design better than the single sided tampers with a handle because it just works better when I'm pressing down on a flat surface instead of a rounded handle. THANKS X-CHEF! Also, this tamper works perfectly with my Mr. Coffee Espresso machine model ECMP50, as the filters are 51mm.

Ron: I love this product. My son has been making his own espresso and cold brew for ages and he talked me into getting this when I bought his own coffee grinder and espresso machine. He has since taught me how to make cold brew and I love that even better than making a cup when I need it. Our old Jura Capressa machine made every kind of coffee, but it's long gone. Our current Jura Capresso really only makes good coffee...not so much for espresso. I do use it all the time to make decaf. My espresso machine doesn't really use ground coffee and that's what I make the most of. I can use ground coffee for my cold brew. When I use the tamper for my espresso, I buy quality espresso beans and I love the process of making a perfect cup of espresso.
